I don't want to completely stick my neck out on this, because when you hope something is true, it clouds your judgemenet (as Dan Rather has found out!)
But it appears to me that tickets are available at all the gigs for the "swing states" pro-Kerry/anti-Bush tour. Curiously, New York and New York have not been added to this "swing states" tour.
Odd. Now, this is not 1980, but it seems even the Springsteen shows still have tickets available. A bad sign for the left?

Gotta be a bad sign when the boss doesn't draw.

I was never that hot on Springsteen, and don't even know or like the others, but am very sad to see that Sweet Baby James and John Fogerty are with the enemy.
I hope that the fans who do attend can hear the crickets chirping over the singing at these concerts! (I know that's impossible, but I'd like to see it happen!)

"now who are these people again?"
I believe I've heard them referred to as ... irrelevant. Is that some new group?

Even a lot of people who agree with them on issues are going to be yelling, "shut up and play some music!"

I saw ads on WCSX(classic Rock) for Bruce and REM at Cobo in Detroit.
Not sure if it's sold out or not.

Yeah, "Irrelevant" is the We Are the World of the new century.

The ones in empty seats won't be yelling anything.

Maybe they should call it "Vote For Spare Change".

My local radio station was giving away tickets this morning. The disk jockeys commented that the rockers were going to try to change your vote. However, the disk jockeys refused to name the suggested candidate! :)

I clicked on the Philly link and either those are sold out or haven't been put on sale yet. The site didn't specify.
But with Springsteen and REM doing that show, I can't imagine it not selling out.
I would think that some of the shows that don't get those big names may not sell out right away if at all.
But Springsteen will sell out.
He just won't get any of my money.

DOWNLOAD ALL THEIR MUSIC FROM LIMEWIRE..
Don't buy it, put them out of business by downloading.

Back in the Grundge days, I was really big on Pearl Jam until I went to see them in concert. Eddie Veder tends to induce sleep when he talks to the crowd and when he sings he has strange facial spasms.
