I'd like to thank Drudge for posting the results of the Phelps-Thorpe swimming duel 7 hours before NBC broadcasts it.
Thank, Drudge. You jerk.
What, is Drudge supposed to embargo the news just because NBC won't broadcast in real time? That's silly.
He could put a link to a story rather than putting the results on his main page.
Actually, the polite thing to do (for those who, unlike me, care) would be to link to the results rather than posting them on his main page.
Blame NBC, not Drudge.
Despite the left's best efforts to make it so, ignorance is not bliss.
Oh, that reminds me...I was planning to start posting with Olympic results in the article titles...
So did Phelps win?
"Thank, Drudge. You jerk."
Baaaa. Baaaaa. Baaaaaa. Baaaaaaaaaaaa.
Hey, Drudge is in the information business. If you don't want to know the results in real time, stay off the Internet.
Are radio and TV news programs withholding results until NBC broadcasts the event?
My advice is to put your head in the sand until the Olympics are over.
No offense but in the internet age, I don't see how they can avoid showing results. Many people get most of their news from the internet. Why make them wait?
A swimming duel sounds interesting. But, don't the primers get wet?
Why didnt NBC broadcast this race live?
Your grip should be with them
Heres the quarter, calls someone who cares...........
They figured the ratings are better with soap operas.
Everyone posted the results, not just Drudge. Drudge can do no wrong, in my book.
They figured the ratings are better with soap operas.
See the lack of football/baseball/basketball and the lineup of what NBC actually airs instead of shoveling off on cable. NBC truly is the Girlie Network.
Exactly. Blame NBC. There's no reason these events couldn't be carried live on TV here. Instead, NBC has this short-sighted view of saving them for primetime. Then they wonder why their ratings are tepid when event results are inevitably revealed before it airs on TV.
