It must be horrible in that house...
The apartment has been cleaned by someone luminol tests show, blood drippings found, not just blood spots per Carol, Fox News in SLC, Utah.

Erin Galbraith, one of Lori Hacking's best friends, who was also her college roommate for three years, says Lori and her husband, Mark, attended a housewarming party in Bountiful Sunday night. She says Lori talked about how excited she was to move to North Carolina.

Oh, god...wtih the eponymy of the surname, this media circus might be worse than Laci and O.J. combined.

Hey, I don't give a damned what his "former" wife's anemic looking little friend thinks - or his watery eyed brother for that matter.
We've got a mattress buying, naked streaking, college acceptance fabricating, kook house resident, wife murder on our hands boys - that's my skinny on it anyway.

A bloodstained knife with strands of hair attached is among the evidence Salt Lake police seized from the apartment of Mark and Lori Hacking, sources told the Deseret Morning News Saturday. The knife may or may not be a key piece of evidence for Salt Lake police trying to solve the mystery of Lori Hacking's disappearance.
What else would the SLC police need to get a conviction ... a video of the actual crime?

I think this case is wrapped up. She found out and he went off. I predict his defense will be insanity. One thing I'd like to know is this: Was he taking loans from family members to pay for his "education?"

I hate to sound prejudice, but the first time this story broke and I saw her husband on TV--he pegged the creep meter.

This is an interesting story. But I can't help but wonder what's going on when Rita Cosby spends 32 minutes on this and not a single moment on Sandy Berger's treason. Salaciousness over Security is a Clinton-era obsession. I thought we were over that, Rita...please get a grip on what matters most.

His family was trying to make excuses for his lies. As soon as I heard that he had lied about Medical School ( and hadn't even graduated from college) and that his wife was missing, I knew he had killed her. The poor woman... He must be a sociopath - lying with the best and getting awway with it. He must have been fooling his family as well, or perhaps they just could not bring themselves to believe the awful truth about him...

With all due respect to the family, why is it that the media seems to grab hold of one missing woman story and just go with it day in and day out? There are so many more important things they could be talking about, like terrorists who want to kill us all, and candidates who would abet them. I am sick of this wall to wall coverage of things like this.

Anything to get Berger out of the spotlight.
This apparent murder is terrible. However, people go missing all the time, and are killed all the time. In my opinion, the media were looking for something to bump Berger from the headlines....
