This is not an "opinion/question" -- it is an action item, i.e. it requires the user to take action.

Awesome. Democrats and their allies in the media have politicized the prisoner scandal and blown it out of proportion in order to score points against Bush, not caring that exaggerating the story does unnecessary damage to our cause and will lead to destabilization and lost lives in Iraq. Democrats and the media pleasure themselves when a soldier dies in Iraq- they are jubilant as it provides another opportunity to attack Bush and bemoan America's actions.

Here is my link from this moring:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1134038/posts as you can see I and others have already called the Senator to thank him...but don't make the call on your dime.

I saw it, but this is a more formal version so people not familiar with the issue can a) get a primer then b) take action.
Thanks for the free # :)

God bless Senator Inhofe, who so often expresses the opinions of "the average American."

I just thanked him. You mean we actually have someone in the house or senate that found their backbone?

Below is my email to the senator:
Thank you Senator for your latest words about the outrageousness coming from the democrat quarter. I viewed the pictures of Nick Berg's beheading this morning, and I'm an angry American. Too much focus from the media and democrats are given to Abu Ghraib and none to this young American. I've got a 26 year old son and Berg's horrible death affects me greatly because it could have easily been my son but for the grace of God. The prisoners at Abu Ghraib are there for a reason. Our intelligence needs information regardless of cost. Plus, the press the the democrats in the western world keep wanting to apply our ethics and morals and laws to a civilization that's been still in the 9th century with the islamic religion. These islamics only know strength and weakness. Civilization as we know it is further down the road for these people after many changes are internalized and lots of time has passed. I just want to say "thank you" for being rational in the midst of irrational partisan people. I salute you.

It's amazing, he said exactly what I was thinking. (Without all the profanity and death threats though).

I just worry very much about the intelligence level of this country and where we are headed. When people keep getting upset over an enemy detainee having a pair of underwear on his head causes such outrage.

Who was the spectacled hermaphrodite making faces at Inhofe during his testimony yesterday? I would have turned around and told her to keep her disgust to herself.
I'm glad we have him on our side, but on The Savage Nation last night, when asked to confront "The Chap of Quiddick" regarding the Berg video, Inhofe could only answer with a feeble, Fristian, "I'll try..."

Thanks, I'm embarrassed I didn't do this already

I am still waiting for ANY Republican Senator to begin a formal censure of Edward M. Kennedy on the floor, for his despicable comments unbecoming a Senator regarding Saddam's torture chambers being merely "under new management".
Is there NO ONE--not even someone who is retiring--who will take on this scumbag for his traitorous words?
