I don't know lainie.
It's a joke.
He sounds "bitter."
Calling FR the "really, really ugly"
is similar to the stuff "some"
banned persons write.

Apparently, the untalented Bob Wallace likes the word "chickenhawk" --- his rant is feathered with it. Any bets regarding his military service?
Actually, I like all the chickenhawk stuff, it means the left has decided that only us veterans are allowed to voice an opinion. I have my DD214, let's check his.

And to that list should be added this note: The popularity of leorockwell.com itself is highly inflated, due to the fact that the list in question is compiled from people using the Alexa browser plugin... and leorockwell advertises and promotes that plugin heavily, tooting it's own popularity as it does so.
No other site on that top 10, to my knowledge, actively advertises Alexa spyware.

I could tell right off the bat that onyx was making that comment about the author being an ex-freeper in a tongue in cheek way, given the "fill in the blank" aspect.
Why you had so much trouble detecting, and then so much trouble -believing-, that that was meant as a joke is puzzling, and is saying more about you than it does about onyx.

Of course need I say it? none of the posters at the site have any intention of making their way to the front lines. Except for the several hundred of us who are active duty, National Guard or reservists. This fellow can kiss my lily-white tookus.

Looks to me like he ranks the web sites using only one criteria and that is their stand on the war. Antiwar good. Pro war bad. Pretty simplistic, much like the author.

This guy's views are distilled from "South Park" and "Dilbert"...hardly rocket science material.
Good for a smile, though...

What I find particularly telling is that if David Limbaugh's drug-addled, chickenhawk brother hadn't played DASHOLES' "chickenhawk" rant on his show earlier this week, this Bozo's ramblings would be nothing more than a crybaby's letter to the editor.

Ohhh, gee, I guess I'll have to change my attitudes. I didn't know that I was a closet communist/fascist and that my 10 years (81 - 90)in the military makes me a chickenhawk.
Sound's like I'm going to need a lot of counseling to get back over to the "right" way of thinking - but I'm sure the liberals will be glad to fund it.
Boy I'm glad I found out now, before it's too late!!
I'll be going now - I heard that DU has a good site, maybe I should check them out!
To: onyx
I sincerely hope Im in the 20%.
But - Ill bet everyone here hopes theyre in that 20%.

I give Bob Wallace a "B+" for this article.
He showed near brilliance by including the word, "idgits" and the phrase, "Couldn't find their butts using both hands and someone directing them with a pointer"
OUTSTANDING !!!

"Now for the lowest of the low the Fascists-R-Us site known as Free Republic. The site is a perfect example of Pareto's Law: 20% of the people have the brains and the other 80% are idgits who couldn't find their butts with both hands and someone directing them with a pointer. "
We here at "Fascists-R-Us" are just so upset that this clown rates us so low...that means we're having an impact on him and his like.
Actually, Free Republic is one of the few sites mentioned that features WHAT THE PEOPLE THINK, as opposed to the daily look-at-me rantings of the liberal press.
I do get a lot of my news from Free Republic, from the columns and links posted, but even more valuable is that I get to look at various viewpoints on all the news items.
Sure, there are some wild and crazy posters at times, but usually they just underline the fact that there are fanatics in the world, and that they are also free to post their opinion.
By and large, liberals want to stifle any opinions that don't support their socialist leanings, and their favorite weapon - other than their famous Whine-O-Matic drone, is the race card, a.k.a. the fascist card...mainly because they live to call people names, in hopes that if a moniker like "racist" sticks...it will undermind the credibility of the person they are trying to demean.
If you think that you get the truth in broadcasting from Dan Rather, or any of the major networks...you might be a liberal.
