It's time again to head to the bane of the Internet- The Democratic Underground. Collect the silly, the stupid, the insane stuff posted by st the members there. Please post the screenneme of the poster and a link to the thread. As always, I'll go first...

"Anti-choicers are truly sick, depraved individuals... The banner, which was easily the largest banner I've ever seen... contained a photograph of an aborted fetus, and the words "10 WEEKS- ABORTED." VolcanoJen

My question: She's disgusted by the aborted child's body, but she's not disgusted at the procedure that makes the child look that way. I'll agree that they should not be flying that banner as kids get out of school, but shouldn't these people be proud of that? I mean, it's what happens when they exercise their so treasured "right"....

Bill Hemmer -CNN to Wilson on WH silence- book does not deserve comment!

Ambassador Joe Wilson appeared on CNN's "American Morning" to discuss his new book "Politics of Truth." "This was a question of holding your government accountable," Wilson said of his objecting to some of the intelligence used by the President in his State of the Union address. "This was a question of your civic duty." Bill Hemmer noted that Wilson had endorsed Sen. Kerry and that the White House refused to comment on the record to Wilson's book. "I guess they believe your book does not deserve comment," Hemmer mused.

No pro right wing GOP bias at CNN, is there? They just want to cover up Bush Cheney Treason because they know there are no advertising dollars in such stories.

From the "What is bad for America is good for the Dems" file:

As bad as it is to see people still losing their jobs, this is what is going to potentially put these idiots out of office. People will swallow just about anything these days, but when it hits them in the pocketbooks they start to wake up. Of course these people are assholes too.

Typical of a lazy person. Rather than work to get to freeper levels, they would prefer to bring us down to theirs.

I've been unemployed. While looking for new full time employment in the computer field I held part-time jobs at both McDonald's and Wal-Mart. I worked at independent computer repair. I worked until something else in my field opened for me (as it did).

I never blamed the government for the fact my company laid off most of the tech staff. That is the happens when there is competition between companies. WTF is wrong with these people?

Liberals are weird like that. I was watching Hannity & Praying Mantis tonight and Mantis got his panties all in a wad when his guest, John O'Neill, suggested that DemocRAT Presidential Candidate (for now) John Effing Kerry may not have deserved one or more of his Purple Hearts but not once has Mantis ever expressed outrage at Kerry for suggesting that hundreds of his fellow Vietnam veterans were war criminals.

My way of putting it is thus: If it wasn't for double-standards, Liberals would have no standards at all.

I was banned after writing five words (in response to the abortion topic):

The truth hurts, doesn't it?

They can't tolerate any semblance of truth that penetrates their protected and ideological little lives. They only hear what they want to hear, they don't want to know of the reality of abortion and what it actually is. How could a party possibly advocate being the "party of compassion" or "party of the people" when they are so vehemently cold and hardened towards the smallest of human beings, the unborn? I felt no sense of peaceful, human compassion on the thread (or any thread for that matter), no love of humanity, even from those who like to think they are Buddhists or model themselves after Gandhi. They would sooner protect a dandelion than a fetus.

Returning to FR is like snuggling up by a warm fireplace after coming in from the freezing cold. :)
