In the company of a true gentleman

My first vanity in over three years here. I just had to commend the great guys out there that really know how to treat a woman. I attended a wedding this past weekend and met what turned out to be an absolute gentleman in the way gentlemen are supposed to be. We talked and laughed and this man seemed to sense my needs even before I did. I wanted a cigarette and before I even had it out, he had a lighter at the ready to light it for me. He made sure I had everything I needed or wanted and kept me in such great company. I haven't been around a man who knew how to behave so well in so long that I almost forgot they existed. Just wanted to tell the girls out there that they do exist and thank the guys out there that know how to treat a woman in such a wonderful way. :)

Must have been a "retrosexual".

LOL! Could have been :) Just nice to know there are still some old fashioned guys who treat women with such respect and admiration. Was lovely to re-discover :)

I like this vanity! There really are some decent gentlemen types out there although I for one thought there weren't for quite some time. Let's just hope that this gentleman you met would stay the same after marriage! LOL "Light your own stupid cigarette, and you should stop smoking anyway! " LOL!

Bwah! No doubt! Though it wasn't that kind of meeting, ie relationship and all that, just two people having a really great time. But he did call me from Alabama today to tell me what fun he had and an offer to fly down and take me to dinner ;) So, he is also a true Southern gentleman as well.
Anyway, glad you liked it, I just wanted to share. Not often one runs across such a rare breed and they are out there :) Yay!

Ah, he wants to see you again does he? Sounds promising! Best of luck and go for it! "A Good Man is Hard To Find!" ( I think there is a song in there somewhere!

(Kerry is like a calender, he changes daily! Mr. Flip and Mr. Flop-Only Pres. Bush can make him stop!)

Aww :) Well, thank you for the well wishes (but there'll be none of that for me, lol). I guess it'd be more like the song "My heart still belongs to another" :( LOL!
