Well, it is a big waste of time. The two sides won't agree, they are locked in an endless argument, and it wastes space that could be used for something else.

It reminds me of that old Star Trek episode with the two guys who were black-and-white, only mirror images of each other, and hated each other with a passion.

I think this whole thing should be sent into another dimension, like Kirk did with those two guys.

Thank goodness Miss Marple, the voice of reason. I thought I had gone into another dimension for a while there! Kind of like those shadow people Art Bell talks about! :-)

Good Star Trek analogy. I've seen posters in other forums banned because it becomes painfully obvious they are stalling discussion merely to end it.

In bicycle racing, this tactic is called blocking. As the riders revolve to take the wind's brunt they let off on the effort and distroy the cadence of the effort so badly the riders off the front manage to stay away longer.

I'm grateful I avoided the threads where the creationists and believers in evolution - like myself, thank-you - retorically rattle the monkey cage bars screaching at each other so badly it doesn't even amuse the general public looking on at the specticle.
