Technically you are correct, so I will stand corrected, however, there is a big difference in including the names of posters who have already been involved in the specific discussion on this thread, as was done on #905...as opposed to PINGing posters who have not been on the thread at all...which is what happened on post #1145...and notice how this thread has turned into the nauseating evo-creo nonsense ever since.

The gang mentality comment I still stand by and has been proven by the actions of the gang of usual suspects...who all 'coincidentally' just 'appeared' around the same time.

Just for the record, I believe both 'sides' are equally obsessive at this point and are all wasting bandwidth on FR.

A-G had been brought into it explicitly in Ditto's 927 and by no-name reference in her 905. I was brought in the same way. A revisionist sob story is offered. You are mentioned unfavorably. You can ignore it or answer it. Maybe it would be better to ignore it, but the topic is open.

A-G's 1145 names no one not already named in the discussion or talked about within the body of her own post as part of the narrative (necessary in setting facts straight) and thus ping-able except OWK and Piltdown_Woman. Are these two, the only "gratuitously-pinged" freepers on post 1145, responsible for the hijacking of this thread?

I sure do not consider the science threads (and yes the evolution threads ARE science) a waste of bandwidth. There are some exceptional scientists who post there and I have truly learned an amazing amount from them.

Think of it this way: An FR university where a professor is at your fingertips to answer any question you have free of charge. WOW. This is most certainly NOT a waste of bandwidth.
