"Don't worry - he does this to everybody ..."
Oh, I should have suspected. Ask a simple question and get hounded for days on end. It's really not behavior consistent with the openness of FR.
To: _Jim
Still sore about the Weapon of Mass destruction conversation we had, I see.

Yeah ... he/she/it will go on and an and on ... LONG after he/she/it is left bleeding after a set of rounds and a decision by the judges ...

The fact that your a QA engineer explains almost everything. You're the "lawyers of the engineering world" who keep a lot of good ideas from surfacing and making it to market.
The best of your kind are responsible for bringing better quality products to market, but inovators you are not.
No wonder you don't like Kamen. Its all in the mindset with which you approach life.

Hey Darksheare,
I know you are not a Troll, forget as snippy and others have suggested. Sometimes folks just have to argue to have any enjoyment from life.
That is not your style at all.

Point taken.
Retiring from thread to someplace fun.

'So if accidently someone heated coffee up to 300 F and then served it, your answer would be the same?' It's physically impossible to serve heated coffee at 300 F. Water boils at 212 F and turns to water vapor. If it's still liquid, it is below 212 F. If it is a cup of steam it could be above 212 F, but then it wouldn't be coffee would it? Use realistic numbers for your arguments.

It's over, it's dead.
He was trying to bait me into a fight.
Look his posts up, you'll see that he was being a harrassing jerk for two days straight with the gall to accuse me of harrassing him.

Okay, does he not realize how stupid that looks. I wonder if he thinks he'll pick up chicks riding that thing around. LOL!
Hey, the babes dig my Segway... Unfortunately, it works too well for my own good; now they're so intimidated by my coolness they seem to find me unapproachable. Whenever I scoot by, they turn their heads away and break into a fit of the nervous giggles. Men on the street are so jealous they shout out things like "Fag!", or "Dweeb!".

Yes. Just remember to keep the batteries charged. Oh, and watch out for those semi's on the interstate. Smack into one of them and you'd be like a bug on the windshield.
This is off topic, but I had to mention that probably the most amusing thing you can do while driving along for hours through farmland highways is count the number of massive bugs that hit your windshield at mach 3. The splatters are terrific.
To: JackRyanCIA
no but you can drive it around while down there..show those hover round owners a thing or two lol

Nah, you're just paranoid and rude.
"Look his posts up, you'll see that he was being a harrassing jerk for two days straight with the gall to accuse me of harrassing him."
Once again I simply asked a question. You have tried to brow beat me for two days with insults for asking a simple question. Get over yourself and learn some posting ettiquette.

Oh the old "ngineer game" come up with something that has lots of whizbang and absolutely no practicle application that will be grossly overpriced and fail in the marketplace, then blame everybody else when the company goes bankrupt.
It's not a philosophy it's an analysis. And it's not just one glitch. The entire Segway is grossly over engineered and because of that overpriced. It's competing in a marketplace with devices 1/20 the cost that are lighter, smaller, faster, and go further on a full charge. It loses 90% of it's efficiency on hills, and throws the driver if it's moving when the battery dies. BAD DEVICE.
