[history]
Many studies have examined the "gateway" theory, that marijuana use at a young age leads to use of harder drugs as a person grows older. While there is a general consensus among studies that those who use marijuana are much more likely to use hard drugs and that hard drug users usually use marijuana first, there is lively debate surrounding the reasons for these dynamics.

Forward away...LMAO!
Heard a guy down at the local saloon bashing Christians.
He was using drug war propaganda, but replaced drugs with Christians.
It was a real eye opener.
Kinda makes you wonder...

It'll be interesting to see how many people see the flaw in the article as presented. And predictably boring to see who refuses to admit that it's there.

Then you are also for the re-legalization of crack. When was crack ever legal?

Maybe, there might be states where it is worse than a ticket.
In California it could be good on your resume! (that is sarcasm) LOL

A doctor would ask what drug is first abused for recreational purposes, not fixate on questions of legality. Unless they hope to prove marijuana causes physical changes that lead to the use of more potent drugs, these 'studies' are a nullity.

Plus, with the luck that I have fishing, your friends don't remember how bad you did so it makes it a heck of a lot easier to tell "whoppers".

Who is this purdney guy? I am a newcomer. An economist in England that writes pro-mj studies that was paid to do a pro-mj study by some pro-drug guy in the English parliment and is touted by MrLeroy as a source to discredit the gateway theory.

How is it scientific to select a group of twins for their chosen paths in opposition to each other and suggest that because those paths are likely to remain divergent in this particular subset that the results among the general public will correlate? Differentiation is in the nature of twins and this 'study' attempts to twist that fact to produce propaganda. In fact, this particular subset of 'researcher' is definitively the whoredom of the elitist medical community and should rightfully hold no sway in anyone's religious practices.

Already answered: "Are they locked in the house 24/7? As soon as they step out the door their environments start to differ." Right, but for the purposes of this study, conducted by people in favor of drugs I remind you, you simply can not possibly find two people with more similiar enviornmental experiences than same sex twins. You are grasping at straws here. Try another approach. This is a dead-end for you. This is your study, not mine.
