[history]
Many studies have examined the "gateway" theory, that marijuana use at a young age leads to use of harder drugs as a person grows older. While there is a general consensus among studies that those who use marijuana are much more likely to use hard drugs and that hard drug users usually use marijuana first, there is lively debate surrounding the reasons for these dynamics.

Thank God pot is illegal or we would have a much bigger problem.Yeah, it's practically impossible to find marijuana these days.
To: presidio9
ok, which is easier to get Pot or Beer for teenagers
secondly why is one easier than the other
the answer is pot, and why is it easier?
because alcohol is regulated and controlled
Pot is not, therefore why not sell it to minors the drug dealers is already breaking the law.

Wait a second, let me get this straight. The same people who tell you that marijuana is harmless (good for you even) will also try to tell you that Ozzie can't be believed because he fried his brain? What kind of logic is that? Are these people all Clintons?

Pot is only easier to get in some areas, and only then because it is much less bulky and more easily concealed.

Yeah, it's practically impossible to find marijuana these days. Yep, and the good thing is that when we legalize it there will be even less pot around, right?

whatever it is that you are smoking I wish you would share
have you been to a teenage party lately?
There is an abundance of Pot smoking going on,Ectasy and other drugs as well
and guess what some of these kids are 13, 14, 15, not adults
again drugs are easy to get because they are illegal
wake up and smell the drug war, It's not working.

Say old chum, have you heard that none other than Ozzie Osborn himself says that pot smoking led his son Jack to try harder drugs? So what?
People have the right to kill themselves by drinking or using tobacco, why shouldn't they have the right to kill themselves by sticking needles in their veins?

try again,Pot less bulky and easier to conceal
yeah right I have a bridge in brooklyn to sell are you interested
A little lesson for you Wod'ers, Pot is illegal, which jacks the price up, and the profit for the dealer,
It is weed, that can be grown anywhere,
If it were legal, some people would grow it on there own,
most would buy from the ABC store,
it would cut out the Black Market, why risk going to a drug dealer, when you can get it with known purity and quality
a little common sense would go a long way.

Folks, I am not making this up to demostrate the mind-destroying properties of marijuana.

twist it and shout it, you were the one said it was less bulky,
try following logic for a change
but I guess you don't need logic to be a JBT's
besides I was referrering to teenagers ease of getting drugs.

by the way at least you could have done is posted the entire statement
and not parse it to prove an incorrect point
don't accuse someone of smoking Pot, unless you have proof.

So, by your logic, we should also legalize euthanasia, right? YES.
If you want to die and are physically incapable of offing yourself, you should be able to recruit help.
