The other great debate was from the movie Contact.

I think the more important question would be, what would Pheobe say about Saturn?

I was just lisening to Medved Did he get into his theory on how Venus blew out of Mars, came and bounced off the earth, and then took up the most perfectly circular orbit of all the planets -- all about 3000 years ago?

I think the funniest "Friends" lines were:
Joey: All right, Rach. The big question is, "does he like you?" All right? Because if he doesn't like you, this is all a moo point.
Rachel: Huh. A moo point?
Joey: Yeah, it's like a cow's opinion. It just doesn't matter. It's moo.
Few days later I was listening to CNN's televising of the audio portion of the Suprem Court battle between Bush and Gore. The scrolling script was generated by computer and many words were unrecognizable. However, I knew we had the case won when scrolling across the screen was that one of the Supreme Court Judges says to Boies that his point was "moo". I don't think I ever laughed so hard.

Medved is a creationist?
Darn. I had great respect for him.

Creationism vs Evolution
The debate boils down to is "origin of cause"
In looking at this if you go back to the start, taken logicaly evolution must assume there is no origin of cause... the universe started from a spontaneous effect
Eternal cause vs Spontaneous effect
I find belief in spontaneous effect more supernatural & illogical then belief in a eternal cause

Well, first thing Pheobe better do is learn how to spell her name and the word "evolution"...

I have no problem with people who accept evolution as a scientific principle. I have a big problem with those who treat it as a religion, claiming that it proves that there was no intelligent Designer, for example.

The difference between people who believe in evolution and people who believe in G-d is simple.
Those who are into evolution are fascinated with lower life forms.

If we evolved from monkeys, how come there aren't half man/half monkeys running around?
