Yes but alcohol was legal before prohibition, and was made so again by it's repeal. Pot has never been legal.

"Pot has never been legal."

Game, set, match. Do you have even the slightest inkling what you are talking about?

For your information, idiot, MJ was made illegal right about the time of the end of prohibition. That law, which was based on never issued tax stamps, was declared unconstitutional. That is where the CSA came from.

lol.

Toothless is close to right. It was legal until six years AFTER the repeal of Prohibition. That's right. While alcohol was illegal, pot was legal. Given some of the arguments made on this thread, that is an interesting irony.

You clearly haven't taken the time to be informed on this topic. I'd suggest you start by reading a few of the downright comical assertions about marijuana that were used by Congress as the basis for passage of the Marihuana Tax Act of 1937. They didn't go quite so far as to say it will turn you into a bat, but close.

Your facts are wrong. Prior to 1914 or so when the temperance movement hit it big, not only marijuana, but heroin, opium, cocaine, and other drugs were legal and freely available to anyone who could afford the low price. A bottle of Coca-Cola used to have the equivalent of about a line worth cocaine in it.
