How special. Maybe we should now call him Ozzy "Nelson" Osborne?

Don't forget Madonna as "mom of the year"...now she wants respectability after teaching a generation of girls to be tramps. How do these people live with themselves?

If Ozzy can eventually have the common sense to say pot should be banned, why can't the liberaltarians are Free Republic? It's pretty scary when Ozzy has more sense than dozens of posters at this website.

"When I found out the full depth of him getting into OxyContin, which is like hillbilly heroin, I was shocked and stunned," Osbourne continued. "The thing that's amazing was how rapidly he went from smoking pot to doing hillbilly heroin."

LOL! Ozzy Osbourne is calling marijuana a gateway drug. Says drugs are not good for the mind or body.

Time for the Liberdopians to queue up and call Ozzy a liar or misinformed.

Gee. What would Ozzy Osbourne know about drug abuse anyway?

Ozzy PING!

Good for Ozzy. I'm glad he's able to look at things with a (finally) correct perspective. He is the best example of what happens to you when you do drugs and drink. And he's willing to admit that.

There are a lot of things that we do to ourselves that we don't want to see someone we love do. I'm sorry for Ozzy and Sharon that it took their son becoming an addict for them to realize what their actions have wrought.

And in reply to the person who asked what Jim Morrison would say, my guess is that you wouldn't be able to comprehend the words over the howling and gnashing of teeth.

"One thing leads to another. Coffee leads to Red Bull, Red Bull leads to crank."

Recent studies by the RAND Corporation, and by economist Steven Pudney of the University of Leicester, have deflated the "gateway theory."

What I find truly amazing is that Ozzy can't understand why his kid is the exception and not the rule. I would venture to say that this is the greatest part of Jack's problem. He has led a life of indulgence and his father, in a moment when blame should be squarely placed on his son, is looking for scapegoats and excuses. I have several cousins who have fallen victim to this same type of piss poor parenting. I can see it coming from miles away.

Ozzy Osbourne, the new spokesman for the taliban wing of the Republican party. Predictable if nothing else.

I'm surprised that Ozzy would even have the mindset to come to this conclusion.

"The Osbournes" was on MTV last night, and VH1 was airing "I Love The 80s" (1982) at the same time. VH1 had a few minutes of footage of Ozzy from '82, and I used this as an opportunity to flip between the two channels to show my kids the difference between the 1982 Ozzy and the 2003 Ozzy so they'd understand what drugs can do to a person. What a golden opportunity that was!

1982 Ozzy - Very coherent...2003 Ozzy - Lights are on but nobody's home!

Being the son of OZZY gets that young man incredible access to every bad thing he could want.

Pot is bad enough, but the groups of people who hang out doing that drug are cultural and societal misfits who are more than likely going to move on to harder drugs because the groups tend to further decline in that direction. (Including crime to facilitate drug use)

Some even form (mostly drug) political parties to try to legalize substance abuse in some BS interpretation of the Constitution. They seem to rant while under the influence about whether their party starts with a lower case or capital letter. All I can say is "L"osers!

I don't know why Ozzy is surprised that his son is a drug addict. He and his wife, Sharon, have raised those kids in a very permissive atmosphere.

from www.tvguide.com:

JOHNNY DEPP says falling in love with French pop star VANESSA PARADIS and the birth of their children was his saving grace. He says they gave him "a reason to live." "A reason not to be a dumb-a$$. A reason to learn, a reason to breathe, a reason to care. It gave me everything." In GQ, on stands July 22nd, Depp also admits that he spent many of his younger years confused and self-medicating. Now 40, he considers himself lucky to have survived, unlike his former colleague RIVER PHOENIX, who died of an overdose outside Depp's Los Angeles nightclub. Armed with the wisdom of hindsight, Depp has pondered his own kids' possible future drug use, telling GQ that if they want to smoke pot he might score it so they don't get something laced with PCP.

what a great dad, huh?
