Terrorist won't be the death of America but Porn & Sexual Americans will

It started with an idea. Naked people sells. America has fed into the lie about sex and porn. Making it a daily meal. They worship sex and porn much like a religion.

There is a threat to take the soul of America and it comes from porn. Sure the terrorist wants to kill but porn kills the very soul of a people.

Now we are being attacked with porn via the internet. UnWanted emails that offer every kind of sick attack to the soul using porn and all its sickness. Or using any major search engine with just a keyword or two and Porn is opened up for all to taste. This is a major attack happening and it is slowly turning a great nation into a very very sick nation. Just read the news headlines day after day and what the porn is doing to people and their minds that they do such sick sick acts on others, innocent others.

Yes Terrorist won't be the death of America but Porn & Sexual Americans will.

But it is related to the breakdown of the family.

Breakdown of the family? My two wonderful children are the direct result of some wild, crazy, kinky, and by some definitions, pornographic sexual encounters with a beautiful, sensual, and erotic woman.

Quite the drama queen aren't you, Geraldine? This Republic is strong, and shall remain strong even under the onslaught of your dogmatic cess. Oh, god, whatever happened to our Victorian ideals?

Wow, attacks all around is it? Drama queen? That's the best you can do? The Republic by definition of the Founders IS for lack of a better term dead or dying. Popular election of all the leaders has done that. Or perhaps you missed the 17th Amendment? I know you statists who think as long as your gas tank is full and the house is still standing the world's all perfect. But if you compare this nation to what it was 200 years ago to today, it is a shell if not a memory of it's former self. So if all you can do is call names why don't you go over in the corner and stare at the wall?

Are you seriously suggesting that America was a better place 200 years ago? Back when women were not allowed to vote, and indoor plumbing was only a dream?

America will continue to get better AND worse at the same pace, cancelling out the extreme on either side. From your perspective, why not consider Porn as the price one pays for having the Internet?

I think 50 years ago, my Grandparents considered Elvis the devil himself. My parents think he is a god. Who is right? Who cares?

Thanks for sparing us the part where you consumated the marriage by swan-diving, then doing a 360 from a chandelier head-first into...um...whereever....

Had you filmed it; Americans would have bought it, and more often than Disney Films. That's the world we live in.

Nobody's talking about sex inside of marriage. The attraction between men and women is
God-given, for the purpose of forming families and keeping them together, and providing a pair of loving, trusting parents, which is each child's birthright

Oh, god, whatever happened to our Victorian ideals?

Victorian ideals? Do you even know what you're speaking of? Since apparently you have no idea what in the hell you're talking about let's look into Victorian England and what it meant to the elite

Eminent Victorians, including many of the most powerful and influential, accepted without question that they were bound by biblical teachings. Indeed many considered themselves as having a special rapport with the Old Testament Prophets. A tour of the old Victorian towns in the Industrial Midlands and North will reveal chapels of Bethel and Shiloh, Tabernacles, attended and endowed by Noah Smiths Elijah Hardacres, and Malachi Higginbothams -- men of new wealth, but biblical outlook and a living testament to faith in their God and his prophets.

Here

Overview of religion in England

Surely sir, one such as 'learned' as you would dare not wish us to return to Victorian ideals, now would you? 'Rapid Biblethumpers' I would imagine? 'Borne of religious zeal' even? These men were quite the religious group and I gather quite close minded as well

I agree, but we didn't get the wild and crazy and kinky and porographic ideas for great sex within the marriage from reading the Bible or watching Disney flicks.

If women were allowed to vote for the same groups as men, yes. But Senators and the POTUS were elected internally by the legislative bodies we put into place. It adds a buffer zone, so certain leaders would be about the business of the nation as the Founders suggested. I'd go one step better and push for Franklin's suggestion of not paying these men. They would do it as a service and you wouldn't have political lifers. Campaign finance reform would fix itself quite quickly I imagine

America will continue to get better AND worse at the same pace, cancelling out the extreme on either side. From your perspective, why not consider Porn as the price one pays for having the Internet?

I'm not saying the technology is bad. What I am saying and being attacked for quite freely (and I thought conservative meant socially as well as fiscally, silly me) is that the laxation of moral STATES laws that were in place up until this century prevented the growth of any of these industries in the first place!! But with more 'freedom' we have only entrapped ourselves into a spiralling trap. The more 'free' we become, the more the next step has to be taken to excite us, thrill us.

It's the same principle of driving a car. You want to be thrilled? Drive 100 MPH. It's fun, and I imagine for a few months you would be excited at that level. Sooner or later though, you are going to want to go 120, 130 even. At what point do you stop? You will reach a point that even you in your expertise cannot control and will slam into a wall. IF you're lucky and blessed, you'll live through it. If not, well game over you're dead. So how do you prevent it? Human nature is inherently always greedy wanting more. Just as governors are on cars from the manufacturers, the separate and equal states established morality laws, that thank God are still in effect in places in the South and do even sometimes work, to prevent such an action. Not at the general government level, but at the state level, just as some states had established clauses in their constitutions REQUIRING that elected officials believe in God Almighty and of good moral standards. But as this Constitution morphed more and more has been excepted until we are at the point we are today

I will take your word for it. Wow! The thread has some wild posts.

I hear that HAL9000 has some suggestions concerning the DNS system that might help filter it out and keep your computer free from this porn stuff. But I could be wrong! Anyone else here about this dns system?

Thanks for posting one and all. We need a grassroots movement to get this porn out of the computers. It is like an attack and like it is hidden from within.

I use SpamBouncer to block unwanted e-mail. It runs on a mail server and unlike most mail filtering systems, stops the bad stuff before it gets downloaded to my computers. It doesn't use DNS, but lexical analysis of the content of the message to guess whether it contains spam, porn, etc. Occasionally, some spambot will figure out a way to fool the system, so I block their IP address in those cases. This resulted in a major reduction in the amount of garbage coming in.

Unfortunately, SpamBouncer is not an option for most people because the typical user doesn't operate their own server.

Apple is about to introduce a new mail filtering system built into Mac OS X that will help users of that operating system block the junk. It is also a lexical analysis system, and it will work for all Mac OS X users.

Windows is a spam/virus/porn magnet, so for people who want to receive that sort of stuff, Windows is the preferred OS.

The only way Porn will be harmful is if your stack of Hustler magazines falls on you.

But with more 'freedom' we have only entrapped ourselves into a spiralling trap. The more 'free' we become, the more the next step has to be taken to excite us, thrill us.

Here is where the whole Freedom thing becomes dangerous for some. I think you are having a hard time with the notion that the idea of Freedom, means the ability to disagree. That disagreement can be regarding someone's personal morality, and to some that is an unacceptable conclusion.

Morality means different things to different people. Why not simply adhere to your OWN personal morality, and allow other theirs?

In your example of driving, I would think that we all decide to accept the consequence of our driving, knowing that every time we do, we take our lives in our hands.

When you use the Internet, you do the same with respect to Pornography. Porn on the Internet is a fact of life, and it is up to each of us to swim in that lake, or walk around it.

Dictating morality for all, rather than one's self, is a dangerous game.

Two questions beg - did she ever make it out of that lifestyle - and is she still alive ?

Do you have a first name for a prayer?
