I would hope your appearances and posting on these pages states your desire to undo years of liberal policies in this land I hope we all dearly love. I would hope that a hundred successful LibertyPost.org and FreeRepublics would advance the cause we all hold near and dear.

From what I have read here it seems many are more interested in fighting each other than they are in advancing the cause of individual liberty and limited constitution government as envisioned by our forefathers.

If my second paragraph is the truth, shame on you.

From personal experience, I know for a fact that it's a terrible idea to reveal the names of the mods. If you were to ever do that Jim, give them a chance to resign first, so you won't have to reveal their name if they dont' want it revealed.

I agree. I, along with Kim, have seen this happen and once the anonymity is voided, the reason that one has moderators is no longer valid. It doesn't work.

btw...I wasn't suggesting civilians getting reasons for each banning...the tracking number is for Freepers to do the monitoring and complain to you and you go over your internal impressions of the banning sequence for a particular AM...I'm not totally inexperienced in the law...to my eternal sorrow....I know your ghoulies are hanging out...

Thanks for the mention. Now would you provide an example of an "obscure" insult I have directed at you? I am very strong in my opinions and am not shy in expressing them. Is that what you are insulted by? As to a "clique" that implies some power around here. Let the Admin Moderator tell you how many times I have used the abuse button and how many times I have been placed in the penalty box. The answer is 1 and 1. If I have forced others to leave the forum as you charged then they sure can't be very strong.

Nothing I've ever seen here (or on any other conservative forum) approaches the venom and all out hatred between Democrats and the super lefty Greens. The amount of vitriol and divisiveness between the two groups is quite shocking, given their common goals.

While the Left may make some use of the Greens and anarchical radical from time to time (G8 meetings and such), I believe Keunnelt-Leddihn in right in two respects:

1. The New Left (or recycled reds, the Greens) is a leftism to end all leftism. The left will never accept the New Left for it recognizes the anarchism of Bakhunin and others.

2. Even more interesting, at its base, the New Left shares exactly the same criticisms of the old Conservatives where the industrialization and mechanization of society were concerned. The old Conservatives (like the New Left) recognized the utterly inhumane aspects of such a world to come and foretold precisely the human agony and rank depersonalization that indeed has resulted.

It's a fascinating concept and goes a long way toward explaining why the Left would just as soon meld with a wholly compromised Right rather than confront the double-barreled menace that is the New Left's anarchism and essential truths (as recognized by the Old Conservatives prior to Pragmatism's dulling their senses).

Perhaps you could post the entire exchange. Given the shrill, rude manner in which some folks engage in on-line debate, there is a very good chance the poster in question was being a nasty, vulgar, vindictive wench.

I saw it, and you are absolutely right. She was. I don't know her at all, and I don't know whether such comments are typical of her - but what she said (which seemed to me to be completely unprovoked) was one of the most disgusting and rude things I've ever seen an individual say about another in an online forum.

She had every single word of that rebuke coming. It was a chivalrous response to a disgusting post.

For crying out loud, this herd mentality "They suck, we rule" is ridiculous. Let them talk about what ever they want even if it doesn't fit with your specific definition of "conservative." There is a large spectrum of information and opinions out there. It is far wiser to judge them on a case by case basis, then to say they suck because they aren't FR. It's good to argue your position, if only to see how it holds up against attempted refutation.
