Breitbart ^ | 19 Nov 2025 | Elizabeth Weibel

Former President George W. Bush and his family are reportedly planning to retake the Republican Party from President Donald Trump once he is out of office, according to a recent report.

There are allegedly “rumors” stirring that there is a “plot to end the so-called ‘Bush Exile'” as part of an effort to take control of the GOP from Trump and his Make America Great Again (MAGA) policies […]

One person, who is described as a “former Bush official,” told the outlet that Trump “knows that there’s no third term option,” while admitting that Vice President JD Vance “has a head start” over other possible Republican presidential candidates in 2028.

The former Bush official also predicted that “there will be a big open field within the Republican Party” for the 2028 presidential race, according to the outlet. …

Is this the Bee? I don’t think a Bush could find their bush or their junk, if given a map. They absolutely suck. IMO

Do they think we have freakin’ amnesia?? Are we supposed to forget all the damage that was done by the Bushes (i.e., not only the wars of choice but also to our southern border as well as the destruction of liberty following 9/11)? Do they think that we’ll ever forget the active campaigning against the GOP that was engaged in by the likes of Barbara Bush (Shrub’s daughter)??
“Barbara Bush campaigned for Kamala Harris in Pennsylvania”
https://www.politico.com/live-updates/2024/10/29/2024-elections-live-coverage-updates-analysis/barbara-bush-endorses-kamala-harris-00186030

I’ll be damned if I ever vote for a Bush again. No way, no how. Never again. And I say that as someone who pulled the lever for them in 4 general elections (88, 92, 00, 04).

So many laughs in current news: Pence, the Bushes, MTG, Ted Cruise. It’s going to be very crowded with folks hoping to welcome in donations with both hands and a toothy grin, until IOWA when the music stops and there are very few chairs left.

Well gee, I’m looking forward to seeing them totally humiliated then. Thanks to Bush and some vile greedy democrats (Dodd and Frank) we had the mortgage crash of 2008. It changed a lot of American’s lives for the worst. I was one of them and we have very long memories.

ROFL. They need to be prepared to be humiliated in the polls. Again.

We would be talking of a different generation of Bushes.

Reflecting how badly the Bush brand was tarnished, George P. Bush of Texas (AKA “P. Bush”) lost the 2022 Republican primary for Texas Attorney General badly (to Ken Paxton). P. Bush had previously easily won the Republican primary and the general election for Land Commissioner in 2014 and 2018. I am not aware that P. Bush has any specific plans for the future.

Another potential Bush is Jonathan Bush of Maine, a nephew of George H.W. Bush and a cousin of George W. Bush. We’ll call him J. Bush. J. Bush is positioning himself to run for Governor. Maine Republicans are hoping for a good year in 2026 in this slightly Democratic state.

Gif.

Imagine AOC and Mamdani having to ask that.

Or the late Charlie Kirk.

Or Trump.

Bush = RINO loser. Unwanted by most Republicans and Democrats. His style of give in to the left without a fight has passed. Most people are aware of the unbreachable chasm between the political party that wants to take everything from you and the MAGA movement that wants freedom from constant government overreach.
