Decades ago we lived in Marina del Rey, about a mile south of Santa Monica where my kids went to Santa Monica high school. They walked down that beach almost every morning to get there, no problem whatsoever.

Infuriating and truly sad. to see what’s happened to that beautiful beach.

The woman in question is doubtless a classical scholar, determined on re-enactment of ancient Spartan martial display of naked combat. When the two women were engaged in armed melee combat, they displayed more verve and skill than I have seen in certain period medieval film dramas, notably one of the battles show in the film “El Cid”. Or, perhaps she was just on drugs.
