A video widely circulated on Weibo purportedly shows a worker at a Tsingtao Brewery warehouse urinating into a tank believed to contain raw ingredients.
One of China's biggest beermakers says it has opened an investigation after a video appearing to show a factory employee urinating on raw ingredients went viral this week.
The clip, published online on Thursday (Oct 19), purportedly shows a male worker at a Tsingtao Brewery warehouse clambering into a high-walled container and relieving himself onto its contents.
The footage circulated widely on Chinese social media, racking up tens of millions of views on the popular platform Weibo.

Excuse me for laughing, but I’ve always thought beer tasted like pee.

Didn’t taste it. Smells the same to me (I changed diapers of my two babies) , assumed tastes like it too.
Ironically, I’m now drinking it. Bought great book: Eat to Beat Disease by Wm Li, , MD. He said that beer is a superstar in terms of diseases it helps you avoid. Has same effect on heart as red wine (for different reasons). I was drinking red wine for my heart, but it raises blood pressure. Tried beer and it doesn’t. Still don’t love it, but a little 7-oz bottle of Corona every night is not too obnoxious.
BTW, several friends have now bought that book. Highly recommend it. Who knew that purple potatoes have so many health benefits? Etc.

The liquid level in the vat was low, so he sacrificed himself to raise it.
Sometimes I shop online for vitamins/supplements.
If the source is China, I avoid it.
Anything edible should not come from China.
It’s a good rule of thumb for the non-edible stuff too.
Put him back on the line. The beer was better before they got rid of him
I believe they added melamine to the dog food.
