If you are white, black, brown, yellow, purple, green or any other color Dubai specifically and the ME in general are good places to stay the hell away from. The people there are less sane than the insane ones here. There were places around the world that I stayed away from and places when forced to layover I found a seat and sat there as quietly as possible until it was time to go and I did all I could to never exit the secure area or customs controlled area to avoid re-entering.

That likely holds for anyone visiting Dubai, or about 80% of the world. You can bitch and scream all you want at US authorities and they’re powerless to put you in your place, but try that in most Non-Western countries and you’ll find out who runs things there.
