Terrible. RIP.
It sounds like it might be a suicide (he was battling manic depression). He was great on “All My Children” where he first caught my eye. He almost single-handedly saved the Billy Abbott character on Y&R after subpar castings before him. I was less sanguine about his taking over as Jason Morgan/twin on GH, which was a miscast in my estimation (not his fault, he did his best, but the writing wasn’t good, and he was left to drift). Sorry to hear about such an untimely end at a young age. :-(
He was the best ‘Billy’. He had such great sexual chemistry with his leading ladies. I really dislike Jason Thomson in the role. When I see him I only think of ‘Patrick Drake.” There’s nothing appealing about him.
