I have no issue with anyone punching someone who spits at or on them.

I can understand the reaction but the woman was in handcuffs. That’s crossing a line.

At least he can brag about his ability to knock out a handcuffed 59 year old woman with one punch.

Sometimes words just fail you. As Robin would say KAAPOW!!!! There I feel better.
To: Round Earther
Did not say I would have thrown a punch.

Demon rum. It was a slap, not a punch. Maybe he was reaching for her to move her mouth in another direction. That’s how I’d play it in court.

During coronavirus lock-downs, the Dept of Justice charged several people with assault on a federal employee, when postal workers were spit at.

Since Aides, I think biting and spitting is very close to assault. Maybe they will cuff and mask perpetrators in the future. Smacking a cuffed person isn’t the best PR or career move. It leads to feeling better, unemployment and all but he may want to swear he’s a tranny or something. After all it is CO.

So many cities are extremely short on trained cops, who knows, after a few months, this former officer may start getting offers to return to the force, but in a different precinct, of course.
