Wear masks and stay home. Get some injections of fungal mRNA. Etc.
How about just using good hygiene instead?

C Auris is a “hospital disease”. It mostly infects people who have been hospitalized for several weeks, and they have significant underlying conditions. If you are not hospitalized, or sharing surgical instruments with people, you will probably be OK.

The American College of Physicians (ACAP) said the rise and spread of antibiotic-resistant cases of Candida auris, also known as C auris, is 'particularly concerning'.Well, it should be concerning to them because doctors know an antibiotic isn't an effective treatment for a fungus anyway.

The gist of the article is that this thing spreads within hospitals, like MRSA.
Another excellent reason to avoid hospitals.
Not that one was needed.

After reading through the entire article, the article was poorly written, barely readable, and just wanders through some fear mongering.

That was the first episode of the X-Files that I ever saw.
The killer fungus was released from the trunk of a giant old growth tree in the Northwest by loggers. It had been trapped inside the tree for centuries.
