Mostly the people that catch it are over 70 and have comorbidities and are already in a hospital for treatment for other severe maladies. So yeah, 50% death rate because most of them are going to die anyway because they’re languishing in a hospital.

A person is infected after coming into direct contact with a contaminated object. It spreads from person to person by direct contact between them. Strict handwashing, especially in hospital environments, can prevent its spread.
Wash your hands and maybe use a Hand Sanitizer after contact.
