One woman on TikTok said that she hasn’t washed her hair in 17 days — but she’s come to perms with it. In the video, which has reached nearly 4 million views, Los Angeles influencer Emily Alexander explained that she was on Day 17 of not washing her mane. However, she maintained that it doesn’t smell, and it’s something she does all the time.
“I need to style it today,” Alexander announced as she removed a gray headband from her dirty hair. “In the last video, you guys were like, ‘Doesn’t it smell bad?’ It doesn’t.”
Alexander went on in the 51-second clip to debate how to style her locks for the day. She decided on a high ponytail and a braid. The brunette also put gel at her roots, which she didn’t have to worry about lasting since she was finally going to be washing her tresses the next day — Day 18.

Looking ay her, I’d guess that her hair isn’t the only thing she hasn’t washed for 17 days...
The best guess would be she is from France, Germany, or anywhere in the middle east or Africa...
The stench is strong in those 3rd world countries...
Imagine Luddites and Boomers like me harshly saying a few years ago that no one needs cell phones and internet chats and texting to give messages back and forth keeping in constant touch over every little thing (almost in mall now, still walking in parking lot, email: “hope the big sale doesn’t mean now I can’t find a belt to go with the new bag and shoes I told you about an hour ago. Will keep in touch. Text me again.”
It turns out important things like the hair washing story would have been missed. 4 million people needed to know and had nothing else to do.

WTF is an “influencer?” Who are they trying to influence, what are they trying to plug, and what do they get out of it? I really don’t get the entire influencer platform.

Brain dead. But I’m no Zombie. With long covid anosmia, even my daughter’s silly chased and got skunked dog didn’t smell. So, i’m good.
The real test is Bidenosmia. Or Burning Man.
I’m 75, and still remember when you had to have the operator connect your phone call. I hate my iPhone. It’s the only smartphone I’ve owned. Only use it for calls and the occasional text message for prescription renewals, and doctor appt. confirmations. It sits there the rest of the time as I refuse to use it for anything else. It’s worthless, and when it finally dies (I’ve had it 8 or 9 years now), I won’t be buying another one.
