New Zealand’s prime minister apologized to the opposition party leader after a microphone caught her insulting him during a parliamentary session.
Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern called opposition leader David Seymour an “arrogant p----” during an exchange in which Seymour asked if Ardern could “give an example of her making a mistake, apologizing for it properly and fixing it,” The Guardian reported.
Ardern replied by acknowledging the difficulties of her government’s “managed isolation” plan for COVID-19, but she told her deputy, Grant Robertson, that Seymour was “such an arrogant p----” as she sat down — the microphones caught the comment.
Seymour petitioned for the speaker to have the prime minister withdraw the comment and apologize. The house speaker declined the request since Ardern had already left parliament by that time, and it remained unclear if the Hansard team noted the comment in its official recording of parliamentary proceedings. …

Comment: She’s a Communist c***.
The politician I despise most in the entire world. Evil witch!
New Zealand gone full Twilight Zone.
Person? Punk? Pig?
A P___ joke!!!
Holy moly, wait until the left and RINOs and squishes hear about this! They’re going to be disgusted!!
Well, I guess that’s it for her political career.
If Jacinda said it she/he/it should own it. From my vantage point she/he/it is a scumbag and I will never claim I did not say that. She/he/it is actually far worse and I was just holding back for some unexplainable reason.
He’s a politician; he is almost certainly a arrogant p——
I assume the deleted word is “prick”. Didn’t know that was a curse word. Nonetheless, Adern is still a full-tilt Marxist.
Prick.
“It’s okay if it happens to your finger…!”Looks like Faux News errs on the side of caution when it comes to, as Carlin called them, “two-way words”.

That’s a Philly hello. :)
Once an insufferable WEF mouth-breather like Arden gets into office, you can never get rid of them. I wonder why?
It’s definitely a curse word, unless the sentence is something like “I pricked my finger”
See post 11.
David Seymour isn’t the leader of the opposition. That would be Christopher Luxom of National, the largest party outside government and a center-right or conservative party. Seymour is the leader of ACT, a quasi-libertarian party, also outside government, but much smaller in size.
Jacinda! is a bit edgy these days as National-ACT runs ahead of Labour-Greens in the polls.
Her lock-down policy wasn’t completely stupid. Since NZ is an island country, it was theoretically possible to prevent its entry into the country by clamping down the border. Trump tried to slow the spread by closing the border to China and then to other infected counties, but it was admitted in real time the disease would get into the country (it had already, but had not yet spread to many places).
After a while, the lock-down policy became more and more stupid. You can’t actually stop the spread, only slow the spread, even in an island country; and, the lock-down kept the country from developing herd immunity. Of course, the fear-mongers dismiss herd immunity as they like permanent emergencies in order to promote authoritarian government. Hence, David Seymour and other opponents of Jacinda’s lock-down are pr*cks.
These days, “center right” means secretly hard left.
And no, Jacinda’s lockdowns were no more effective than any other country’s lockdown.
Apologized only becasue she got caught and called out on it...
