“Standard Poodles are hunting dogs.”
I used to kid a girl I knew who had a toy poodle, saying that “poodles are dogs that want to be cats.”
Then I saw a full sized one. It was all business.

I thought this was going to be a story about Algore.
Very disappointed.

Does a poodle ever walk by a mirror and get ashamed of itself and think “I sure look gay?”

IF I ever get a dog again, and it would be for protection, I would get a standard poodle.

We had a standard poodle and he was incredibly athletic. Sticky fingered meth heads did not roam on our block and there were no stray cats either. Mostly he lived behind our five foot fence because he wanted to, but be poking around the cars at night or be a cat and he would sail over it and go junkyard dog. Otherwise, he was gentle, great with our kids and other dogs and very elegant and noble looking.

Beware the pack of poodles!

This isn’t the first time Mallatts’ dogs have attacked other dogs. Several people on Nextdoor commented about incidents with the poodles. “This is a warning to those who see a car crammed with fuzzy poodle faces,” Pease wrote. “They are cute, but can be very aggressive (and how humane is it to load eight or more dogs into such a small vehicle?). As Emma’s attack demonstrated, these dogs can be dangerous to other dogs, humans or, God forbid, children.”That car would be a great location for a Grenade Deposit Box.
