Vice President Kamala Harris' model stepdaughter Ella Emhoff bared her boobs while walking the runway at a New York Fashion Week show Saturday.
Emhoff, who is the daughter of US second gentleman Doug Emhoff and first wife, Kerstin Emhoff, wore a barely-there mint blouse and a black leather lambskin miniskirt with black gloves for the outing.
The outfit appeared to be a deliberate choice, and there's no suggestion the bared boobs were a wardrobe malfunction.
The designer told The Associated Press he discovered an industrial space in the former home of the Japanese consulate while on a bike ride on Manhattan's East Side. He turned it into a white runway that made his revealing metallics, bondage looks, and neon brights pop.
'I wanted to create a space for this particular show where we felt what we are feeling in the culture itself: Kind of unsure politically, culturally, but we still want to be hopeful, want to be optimistic,' he said.

Meanwhile, Ella, 22, skyrocketed into fashion fame when she wore a Miu Miu tartan coat with crystal-encrusted shoulders and a wide collar over a burgundy Batsheva dress during President Joe Biden's inauguration in January 2021.
She then made her runway debut at the Proenza Schouler show during New York Fashion Week in early 2021, after signing with modeling agency IMG.
At the time, IMG president Ivan Bart gushed that she represented 'authenticity,' telling the New York Times, 'Ella communicates this moment in time. There's a cheekiness and a joy she exudes.'
Some unkind commenters claimed that Ella's illustrious family background and ultra-famous stepmom helped turbocharge her modeling career

Ella’s mother never gets a mention. She is Kerstin Mackin Emhoff, documentary filmmaker of some report. Kerstin is from a Swedish background and grew up in Minneapolis.
Ella definitely gets her looks from her father.
Why must we keep abreast of the Second Family?
I think that many people suspect Ms. Emhoff would never have been selected as a model without the political connections brought by her relationship to the Vice President. Similar to how it was newsworthy when Chelsea Clinton was paid a large amount of money to host a talk show despite her lack of any of the talent, training, or experience normally associated with people hosting talk shows.

Is she really model material?
Nothing personal, but I wonder sometimes, if children, or in this case a stepchild, of someone famous, gets a gig because of those connections to someone famous???
Remember when Chelsea Clinton once had a $600K a year job with NBC? How did she get that job in the first place?
Choosing the ugliest conservative woman over this would be no problem. Especially if you believe in forever marriage and the vows that start it. Beauty goes away and the reputed vanity of those upon whom the cameras focus means that you might just as well start hitting yourself with a 16oz hammer rather than pursue one / any of them!

Although I must admit, she almost cleans up nicely when a lot of work gets put into her. She still needs to shave her 'stash though.
She might make it as a fashion designer, but NEVER as a model!!!!
