What an awful story. You can’t help but feel for the innocent little boy.
As much as some will condemn him....what could be worse than finding out what you thought was your child is not your own? and no, I’ll never go along with anybody who says the guy should have just raised him as his anyway. How could you even stay around after that? That’s gotta be the ultimate betrayal.
You’re a scum too.
Really? So what’s this kid? He’s just chopped liver now? I get being mad at the mom (btw where is she? Did this cuckold murder her?) You seem to think this innocent child’s entire value as a HUMAN BEING derives from the sperm that spawned him?
Go to China and hang out with this man, you’ll make a great pair of buddies.
Your uncharitable post is one of the worst I’ve ever read here.
The ultimate betrayal is when a supposedly mature adult abandons an innocent child he’s raised as his own. However, if the parents are this irresponsible about marriage and family, then maybe the little boy might have a better chance through adoption.
Yup.
Mom screwed around on her husband.
I’d be done with her. Probably the boy too. The kid is a lie to the man. Evidence of her betrayal every time you look at him.
Let her shack up with the real father.
Mother was selfish to have an affair and father was selfish to abandon a 5 year old….
Yes this man’s betrayal is every bit, if not more selfish than the mother’s.
5 year old has no control over his lineage and has known this man in every way to be his father since his birth (we assume)
Don’t you remotely claim the man hasn’t betrayed this boy.
You can rationalize it as justifiable if you want to, but it’s a betrayal.
I hope he didn't kill the mother.....
he sounds like a word for a very bad arrogant little man.....
God bless the child.....
So many will blame the mother and the child - but the father doesn’t sound like a great guy.
A thought to add to this - its highly doubtful that everything was just lovely and wonderful between this guy and his wife before he found it. There were likely many red flags and suspicious over a long time before he dropped the kid off at the school on that last day. He probably likely knows who the kid's real father is. No wonder he is pissed off.
It’s an innocent child that thought the man was his father- can you imagine what that little boy is going through? How could you love someone and then do this because of genetics?
This is simply monstrous
I’ve read about adults who’ve found out through DNA sites like Ancestry that the person they though was their father is not, and that they have half siblings from their real father, etc.
These adults now have children and grandchildren. The real question is whether to tell them the truth or not about their heritage. What a nightmare.
Are you a father to a son by any chance?
