Dem Rep. Yells “Spare Me The Bullshit About Constitutional Rights” During Gun Debate
summit news ^

Posted on 06/03/2022 8:34:17 AM PDT by algore

The Rhode Island representative refused to yield his time during the outburst, while discussing legislation related to “red flag” laws, that would allow the government and law enforcement to confiscate firearms from anyone deemed to be a danger to themselves or others.

Florida congressman Matt Gaetz attempted to insert an amendment to the legislation stating “Congress disfavors the enactment of laws that authorize a court to issue an extreme risk protection order, also known as Red Flag laws, in the States because such laws trample on an individual’s due process and Second Amendment rights.”

That prompted Cicilline to call the defense of Americans’ constitutional rights “bullshit”.

Cicilline proclaimed that those who are an “imminent danger to themselves and others, such as they might commit mass murder, have a constitutional right to access a firearm. And to deny them that right would, quote, ‘trample on an individual’s due process and second amendment rights.’”

“You know who didn’t have due process?” Cicilline continued. “You know who didn’t have their constitutional right to life respected? The kids at Parkland, and Sandy Hook, and Uvalde and Buffalo, and the list goes on and on.”

When Gaetz attempted to respond, Cicilline said “No I will not yield and I’m not going to yield for my entire five minutes, so don’t ask again.”

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”

I guess this RI Congressweenie should be removed for violating his oath of office. And prosecuted.

In a sane world...

David Cicilline, the Democrat congressman from Rhode Island, needs to be thrown out of office immediately. His paycheck, health care benefits, desk, phone, etc. only exist because of the "bulls__t Constitution" he attacks.

He swore an oath to defend the Constitution and now spits on it.

He needs to be physically thrown out of the office and charged to recoup income he earned as a congressman under his fraudulent oath.

Simple Gaetz answer back: “Wouldn’t blanket red flag laws remove most of your former and current Clients, Counselor?”

Cicilline is a Mafia mobster’s kid and lawyer for the same rhode island outfit. And, uh— he’s very homosexual flamer. He had better watch his... a@@ so to speak from the Italiano Cosa Nostra of Rhode Island, Provincetown Mob.

That prompted Cicilline to call the defense of Americans’ constitutional rights “bullshit”.

Lock him up for a week, no paperwork, no charges, no lawyer.

Then ask him about those "bullshit" constitutional rights.

Cicilline was born July 15, 1961, in Providence, Rhode Island. His mother, Sabra (née Peskin), is Jewish, and his father, John Francis "Jack" Cicilline, is Italian American and Catholic. His father was a prominent attorney in Providence who defended local Mafia figures in the 1970s and 1980s, and was an aide to Mayor Joseph A. Doorley Jr.

He was raised in Providence before moving to Narragansett. In high school, he served as president of his graduating class, and participated in the Close Up Washington civic education program before attending Brown University, where he established a branch of the College Democrats with his classmate John F. Kennedy Jr. He graduated magna cum laude with a degree in political science in 1983. He then went to Georgetown University Law Center, where he earned a J.D.

He remained in Washington, D.C. for a while to work as a lawyer at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia.

His ugly masked mug comes up in the dictionary when you look up "privileged politicians."

Nice solution.

legislation related to “red flag” laws, that would allow the government and law enforcement to confiscate firearms from anyone deemed to be a danger to themselves or others.

In Orwell's "1984" dissenters were ultimately taken to Room 101 where they would be 'healed' of their mistaken ideas and ways of thought through extended torture. The goal was to have them love Big Brother, not just obey him. That's what the Left really wants, for us to renounce our unalienable rights and embrace our tyrants. Until we do so we are deemed to be a danger to ourselves and to the globalist collective.

What you said is entirely correct.

In any compromise between good and evil, it is only evil that can profit.

DEMOCRATS = Domestic Enemies It doesn’t get any clearer than this.

This Democrat Cicilline said Constitutional Rights Do Not Matter. Sad thing is, this F*cking POS said this on the floor of the House, so this POS is protected from prosecution, vengeance, retribution, etc.

Come on you coward Cicilline, say it out on the street in the open and see what happens. Take your chances you mental midget.

“why they banned Duels”

I’ve always kind of felt that was a mistake, and led to some of the decline in civility we see in society. But then again, duels were for the ‘aristocrats’, since they require people to abide by some code of honor for them to work, and not too many modern folks abide by a code of honor.

“You know who didn’t have due process?”

Such a nonsense argument. Due process is not designed to protect us from criminals. Criminals, by definition, do not engage in “due process” at all. That’s why they’re criminals.

Due process is designed to protect us from the GOVERNMENT. When the government decides to ignore due process, then it becomes a criminal government.

It is refreshing and heartening to see this open contempt towards Constitutional Rights from the Democrats. Previous generations of Dem politicians were more cagey about this stuff. Wonderful that it is out in the open.

"Spare Me The Bullshit About Constitutional Rights”

Well this is more colorful language than CJ John Roberts and his claim that Americans and POTUS lack "standing" to challenge fraudulent elections, but how is it different?

Who in the U.S. government cares about constitutional rights anymore? The constitution is just something else to be manipulated for whatever result our elite want. That's why they are coming for the Second Amendment, because it threatens their agenda.

This is why they should ban the 16th, 17,th, 19th, and 26th amendments. We need to go back to a strict constitutional republic framework.
