Jen Psaki, whose job it is to reassure the press and the public that the main character in the White House has everything under control, has become a bit of a main character herself. She’s been showing up on podcasts and answering “How I Get It Done” questions in the Cut amid the fallout from her Dec. 6 comment dismissing the idea of mailing Americans free COVID rapid tests.
It’s certainly a contrast to the early-days post-Trump heroism ascribed to her by fans who circulated clips of her fending off hostile questioners with hashtags like #PsakiBomb, celebrating how she “destroyed” a reporter from Fox News.
Either way you look at it, Psaki has played a starring role in the administration, exceeding even the vice president’s. Even if it’s clear this hasn’t exactly been by design, it’s less clear whether there’s anything Psaki can do about it.
It’s no secret that President Joe Biden sought to reestablish a White House characterized by a distinctly un-Trumpian lack of drama, or that he has succeeded so completely on this front that his own attempts at messaging go mostly unheard. His hopes for his press secretary seem to have been similar. “The spokesperson is not and shouldn’t be the story because if you are it’s usually for bad reasons as we’ve seen,” said Jay Carney, one of Obama’s press secretaries, of Psaki’s appointment.
“She definitely represents a return to an era that was bipartisan where the spokesperson was somebody who could credibly speak on behalf of the president, the White House and the administration and the country.”

I was listening to thom hartmann the other day and he was explaining the difference between the precedent and president. He said the President is the guy in charge, err um, well, at least he is the guy in the white house.

“Drama free” White House? That’s solely due to the fact that reporters are not hogging the microphone to go on 5 minute monologues about make believe transgressions by the administration, pretending on camera that the president’s supporters “attacked” them when they merely boo’d the reporter-cum-actor’s cheap dramatics, or even asking any tough questions at all.
Instead its “what’s your favorite flavor of ice cream sir?” (said in nasally voice coming out of resident Biden’s ass where the reporter’s nose is firmly planted).
As for Jen Sucky aka Little Red Lying Hood, she’s lied so badly and on the regular that she’s a joke....a caricature of an aging bitchy sorority girl. For example Biden blathers something ridiculous like “its cheating that the Republicans are preventing us from cheating in November. Therefore those elections (in which we all know Democrats are going to be crushed) will not be legitimate.” And Little Red Lying Hood then comes on and claims, hilariously “ummm errr.....he meant Trump said that....or something”.
She brushes of massive supply chain breakdowns and soaring inflation that is hitting all Americans really hard with maximum sneer as “oh the tragedy of the Peleton delivery being late”. No you cupid stunt. Its regular every day stuff people need taking months to get to customers....or being completely unavailable. And that’s if people can still afford it which given roaring inflation at about 18% in real terms, plenty of Americans can’t. But hey, good that you and the rest of your elite supporters can pretend its nothing.
When Psaki is the “cream” that rises to the top, it’s not a dairy, it’s a sewer.
She is a loser , by definition she will lose.
