Drama in the gymnastics locker room...
What do you mean it's gold plated? F,U.
I want REAL gold, not some debased plated medal.
I worked all my life for this.
I don't care if it came from recycled Cell phones I am going home.

The Wimmens medals are made of “sugar and spice and everything nice” The mens medals are made of “snips of snails and puppy dog tails” and the LGBTQABCDE medals are Made from “Unicorn farts and Skittles”.

If you are fortunate enough to win a Gold Medal for good old Team USA you are taxed for all of your hard work.

a little more than that because of the silver content, and a little cause they are semi-uncommon.
I have seen some for auction on certain sites, depending on who won them they may be worth more than the metal melt value.
but some you might just want to melt, like Bruce Jenner ones.

The value of the metals greatly exceeds the metallurgical value.
