Democratic mayoral candidate Eric Adams insisted Wednesday that a campaign speech in which he blasted left-wing politics wasn’t aimed specifically at Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez — after he was dressed down during a Washington, DC, meeting with the city’s congressional delegation, The Post has learned.
During a news conference following the sit-down, Adams said, “I’m not running against a member of Congress, I’m running against philosophies.”

Eric Adams, the singer from Manowar, makes way more sense.
He is a wolf attempting to don sheeps clothing.
The left know that the rightward thrust of the electorate is unavoidable.
And Adams is trying to distance himself from AOC ! The ANGER!
It has AOC pished off!
AOC is a target just begging for attack. Eric Adams did not even mount much of an attack against her, for one thing, and and AOC, prickly little porcupine she is, was just waiting for the opportunity to shed a few more quills.
You cannot be nice to nor can you make a pet of a porcupine.
No spine.
And everyone thought AOC was a joke and look at them now not wanting to offend her! Wonder why! They are afraid of her. Look at Schumer, McCarthy, etc. The only one that stands up is MTG.
So a black man dare not have his own opinions and think for himself. Even if Eric Adams is a socialist too, the Democrat Party Stalinist cannot allow anyone to deviate from their diktats.
He’s not only a socialist, but a guy who said nice things about Farrakhan when he thought it politically expedient.
