Given that everyone comes from Noah, and ultimately from Adam and Chavvah (Eve), there is but one “gene pool” to speak of; but as far as patriarchs after Noah, Jews are 100 percent descended from Shem (Semite) whereas the Arabs, if descended from Ishmael, are Semites on one side and Hamites on their mother’s side.

Yes. I can say definitively that there are overt racists in Israel. Having close relatives ripped to shreds by a bloodthirsty mob, or an infant run over in his pram, or his father run down by a truck, might tend to make one very overtly racist. I do not agree with the sentiment, but I can understand its origins and sympathize with the victims when their murderers are called “heroes” and if dead, “martyrs”. Go be evenhanded, Bernie.
