A US Capitol Police officer directed “all outside units” on the morning of January 6 to only monitor for anti-Trump agitators “who want to start a fight,” not any “pro-Trump in the crowd,” according to the findings of a newly revealed internal investigation.
Rep. Zoe Lofgren described the radio broadcast, the existence of which was not previously known, during a House Administration Committee hearing on security failures around the January 6 attack.
In that transmission, the officer said: “Attention all units on the field, we’re not looking for any pro-Trump in the crowd. We’re only looking for any anti pro-Trump who want to start a fight,” according to Lofgren, a California Democrat.
Lofgren, who chairs the committee, said she was quoting from an account of the radio call, which was found by the Department Office of Professional Responsibility during its ongoing review of allegations related to officer conduct on January 6. She did not identify the officer. …

If he was at the Trump speech, then he was missing the ones going into the Capitol building because they were going in before he even started to speak.

This sounds like a backwards way of NOT securing the Capitol Building. All the Anti-Trump protesters were right there in the Capital Police’s faces, at the front of the crowd, dressed as Pro-Trump protesters.
I heard that the Capital Police were told to stand down. Perhaps this is way of excusing a “stand down order?” Other than that, it does not make sense.
Guessing the officer that shot Babbit missed the order.
Anyone with a brain knew that Trumpers LOVE AMERICA and they were not out to destroy our country. We needed no looking after because we police our own. When people were trying to destroy the Capitol they were turned in to the police. This would make sense to take advantage of the situation. Let the Trumpsters in and all they needed was just a few ANTIFA maggots and the BLM Capitol Cop to kill the Trumpster Ashli Babbit and they had it made! All they needed was a talking point. “RIOT” the CAPITOL RIOT! The DEADLY CAPITOL RIOT! They got their talking point by letting in to the Capitol building the crowd of peaceful demonstrators mixed up with the small number of ANTIFA for the photo op.
