The Invitation to Secede Should be Extended on a County by County Basis
Admittedly a vanity post. | 2/5/2021 | Kevmo

Posted on 02/05/2021 11:55:38 AM PST by Kevmo

There continues to be a lot of talk about secession now.

I think the invitation to secede should last decades, and be extended on a county by county basis.

After 4 or 5 decades, we solidify the borders, and those blue enclave counties that haven't drained out will be treated with the same respect that other sovereign nation enclaves within the US have been treated, i.e. the Indian Reservations, which are still sovereign.

I think the invitation to secede should be extended to counties in Canada and Mexico as well, since we are forming a new country.

Not all divorces end up in knockdown dragout fights. Some end 'amicably'.

“Indian Reservations, which are still sovereign”

Yeah. If “sovereign” means obey the US government and give tribute.

No it wouldn’t. Nukes aren’t that big.

In any division of resources, we would have essentially economic and military parity with the blue state.

Nope. Not even assuming every last Trump voter is willing to join the red side.

They have command and control. They have the satellites and aircraft and all sorts of spy equipment. They have committee meetings that don't get blown up--they own Zoom and the Internet. We have small arms supremacy and maybe a few bigger toys that can make a big noise. In short, we are the Taliban and they are the United States government.

Did the Taliban win yet? Sure, almost, but at what cost?

The thing is, the U.S. never really cared about making the Taliban feel pain. But liberals are not going to let us get off that easily. They have hundreds of years of grievances against the white man, the apostate's rage against the "conservative Christian", all the female emotions raging against every man who ever jilted, let alone misused her. We are the personification of the devil to them, and they will enjoy watching us pay. All the while they have an enticing future offered to our children, if they only forsake us.

Meanwhile, what do we want to do to them? The worst we can think of is to isolate them in nice little communities so that they can live their lives as they see fit. This is not a cause that inspires what it takes to achieve victory. Our philosophical disadvantage is greater than even our financial or weapons disadvantage.

Those enclave blue zones are basically single cities. We wiped out 2 cities with 2 nukes in 1945, and today’s nukes ARE that big.

Where do you get your information from? It is not a reliable source.

We would end up with plenty of the command and control, plenty of aircraft plus the ability to build more, plenty of satellites, plenty of nukes. They would be more sophisticated in their military hardware bit not for long. They can keep whining like women all they want.

No. We seriously damaged but did not come close to wiping out 2 relatively (especially compared to today) small towns made of wood. As far as sheer damage is concerned the fire bombing of Tokyo did a lot more. Out here in reality, compared to the scope of a modern city nukes are actually pretty tiny. Try it out yourself:
https://nuclearsecrecy.com/nukemap/

Even 100MT bombs, the biggest we got, would only glass a small portion of a city. The fireball, highest damage, radius is still under 4 miles. The light is 51 miles, but even that’s not hitting all of the size of counties we grow out west. You’re the one with unreliable information.

Dude. Those 2 bombs ENDED THE WAR. Today's yields are higher.

Those 2 bombs ended the war because Japan thought we had more. And 1 bomb 1 city was a losing proposition for them. It was arguably the best poker bluff ever played. If they’d have toughed it out we would have had to land. And your need to go to insults shows you know the facts don’t back you. Buh bye.

We DID have more on the way. By early 1946 we had 50, and there was no longer even a rush.

Buh bye yourself

Like the last time—people will chose on what side to fight. The Federal side or the Free side. This new nation should have new states—No big Californias or New Yorks. If Washington DC can be a state so too should East California —Become the state of Sutter! With Fresno as our Capital! The Sothern part of California could become The State of Independencia with its Capital, San Diego!

That’s what they want us to think, so we’ll make the mistake of starting a war.

I’m saying that with:

* command and control infrastructure
* insanely good signals intel
* traitors in our midst
* massive appeal of materialist cultural propaganda
* the will to power
* a small amount of working men and materiel
* trillions of dollars of high tech weaponry

They can quickly reduce us to a pitiful existence and enjoy the next 100 years of mopping us up at their leisure and pleasure.

I don’t deny that the clowns are in charge. It’s a clown’s world.

We have just as good c&c, especially over the masses during an EMP blast.

Admittedly our sigintel is weaker. But some of it is incorruptible. I’ll give you 2 examples.

First example was Hitler’s battle of the bulge. He had started distrusting his Enigma coding machines, which we were decoding since the beginning of the war. So he resorted to manual messengers on motocycles, and since his messages were not intercepted he made much further progress in that battle.

Second level of intel is bullshiite detection. During the heavy KGB tyranny days of antichristian activities in eastern Europe, there were several reports of KGB guys coming into churches and saying, “ anyone who doesn’t want to die at the hand of the kgb for being a believer in Christ should leave now.” Those who were pretenders .... simply left. Then the KGB guys turn around and said, “we are believers in Christ as well, and would like to worship with true believers. We apologize for the harshness, but this is the only way we can determine who is real and who isn’t real.”

I agree we have traitors in our midst.

The massive appeal of materialist cultural propoganda can be opposed and defeated by us setting up alternative access pathways t media. Like what Trump is doing.

I don’t know what you mean by “the will to power”.

“small amount of working men and material” is just a fluff phrase.

They have trillions of dollars of high tech weaponry, and so will we. They cannot afford to engage us because they cannot defend against short range cruise missile or even suitcase nukes.

We would have essentially a form of asymmetetrical but assertable parity.

setting up alternative access pathways t media. Like what Trump is doing.

This is impossible even before bullets start flying, because even now the Internet is easily choked. Afterwards, the government will have no problem denetworking areas considered to be in rebellion, let alone the entire country. This has happened numerous times in other countries.

I don’t know what you mean by “the will to power”.

Because you don't have it.

They have trillions of dollars of high tech weaponry, and so will we.

Even allowing that our much poorer population might all chip in $10,000 a head for the war effort, that's still only $740 billion, and what will we buy for our money? Where is the market? Will they ship FedEx?

They cannot afford to engage us because they cannot defend against short range cruise missile

Yes, they can, especially given that our numbers of missiles will be in the tens or dozens and theirs will be in the thousands, and that the missiles are better guided from centralized facilities which they will have and we won't. But even still they could absorb many cruise missile hits, which are more tactical than strategic. It will only piss them off more.

or even suitcase nukes.

With what fissile material, what testing labs, what technology? Or are you relying on Russia to risk global nuclear war by supplying us with her own? Al Qaeda and ISIS were not made of idiots, and they were unable to obtain these devices, in spite of having state sponsors (Pakistan and Iran). What makes you think we will have any better luck?

I don't deny that we might be given one device--by the liberals, in order to justify a generation of subsequent atrocities after they thwart our dastardly "Nukepowder Plot".

especially ... during an EMP blast.

If you're deciding to go to war, you should have a real plan to win. You shouldn't rely on a Deus ex machina type event in order to win.

Even assuming the very recent theory that one EMP blast can take out a country, you would need a megaton weapon delivered on a ballistic missile to a certain height. In other words, you'll need to take over a US missile silo and figure out how to launch a missile without the launch codes, or win over a foreign state actor with the same capability and get them to risk global thermonuclear war for our sake.

This would be the first "test EMP" since 1962 in Hawaii, and if it doesn't entirely wipe out the US electric grid, or even if it does, it will only enrage our enemies and ensure a harsh retribution.
