Doesn’t Taylor Swift want to abolish cops and prisons?
Actually, at one time she did need autotune. She has worked very hard to improve so now she doesn't, but trust me.... there was a time she needed it.
Uhm...why are you injecting politics into her vocal disability?
I use to sing professionally, 3 octave voice and the ability to sing a variety of styles
She needed autotune a few years back and I could hear it.
Very annoying
Doesn’t mean she isnt a good person or bad person
Make a threat, go to prison? What next, thought crimes?
Well a plausible threat of immediate harm is assault.
Always had been.
The problem is the headline, which has nothing to do with the criminal charges.
Link to your singing on youtube?
Soooo... Taylor Swift has more value than our president??
Not on Youtube but, happy to call you and sing something amazing
I’ll go with Star Spangled Banner, Proud to be an American or even some Motown stuff.
I’m not amazing.
there are ten guys in any zip code who sing as well me, and we could be professional singers or we could do something else and make money.
I now sing at weddings and funerals but, only briefly as I don’t want to be the center of attention.
Put something up on youtube - I’d love to hear what you got to offer. Since you are such an expert on singing quality and how you “have to work so hard” to get there. Show me. It doesn’t have to be about you. Just curious about your credentials.
Omg. Poor Taylor. How frightening. (Trying to drum up sympathy for Scott.... um.... still trying)
Oh, finally, someone who understands her incredible Gd given talents. She is one of the best songwriters and performers of my lifetime.
It’s because of all those songs she writes about ex-boyfriends.
Anyone who can convey a deep and complex array of emotions in under 4 minutes is wonderfully talented. She is going to be remembered for a very long time.
Love it!
PM me your number an we’ll play suicide karaoke for and you’ll understand why hate autotune.
We need to keep the songs within 3 octaves to be fair and Nully, who is included on this will vouch for my ability but, I sing most anything just for fun....
He’s heard me sing.
Unfortunately several other Freepers who have heard me have passed on.
lemme know and we’ll schedule some acappella stuff or with accompaniment
I’ll put an end to why autotune is a valid product.
I do prefer songs with range but, won’t shy away from most stuff.
And I will do Sinatra but, have my own take or Gary Morris
Broadway, 80’s rock, Country(any era) Opera(just need a day on some)
not saying I am the best in the world, even though it’s probably true
let me know or I will put some stuff up on youtube in a month or so.
In fact, I’ll give you some easy songs to start with:
Smoke Gets in Your Eyes
Turn Your Love Around
Nessun dorman
Frank Sinatra...anything
Johnny Mathis...anything
Most anything Country
Elvis(unfair, since my vocal follows his)
Pick something and I’ll prove autotune is is dishonest...
I will tell say, I’ve been asked to sing something standard like “You Raise Me Up” by my best friend at the memorials for her son, who passed away two years ago this week.
I can’t sing that again because I believe this song is more appropriate
https://youtu.be/nuxRztsMNzg
Please listen to it
I want to sing this for her and I came up with a really good accapello version that makes the point: (her pain is unbearable and her son was her breath)
Lemme know what you think
BTW, I am a man and believe I can give her a gift with this but, I have refused to sing at the grave on emotional grounds until she accepts this song she knows nothing about, because I believe it would mean more than the other stuff she has ever heard.
She doesn’t know anything about song.
Strange, since she is so involved in the arts of ballet and Broadway.
I’ve hinted at it, in most direct manner but, I dont think she knows the song.
I believe it would be most befitting
Crap, now I am sad again for her
Same day again, as when she pulled the machines off his life...
I gotta go...
Sorry
His death anniversary is the 25th this month.
Hate this...
But, want to give this to herz like I gave my brother You Light Up My Life” when his daughter passed away...
Anyway...
I sang that for her nephew, who passed away 4 years ago and it doesn’t apply and I would prefer to sing this:
Really nice. Thanks.
