Every last person who lost a business, a house, a car, who was injured as a result of the George Floyd riots should sue every media outlet that promoted his death as a result of racism. There is not ONE single solitary shred of evidence racism was involved, they know NOTHING of the case.

It’s a shame that these reputation-smearing a$$holes carry liability insurance to cover things like this. It’s a shame that Sandman couldn’t drag them into a civil rights lawsuit where he could sue the individuals.

Each win [or settlement] improves his chances winning against the other media. It also increases his chance for more out-of-court settlements with larger pay-outs.

Not necessarily. Corporations are FAR more motivated to settle than plaintiffs, especially in a case like this where he has a solid case and track record and his lawyer has said he’s willing to go to the mat. The cost of litigating a suit like this and risk of reputational damage makes corporations eager to settle.

I dont know but what little I know of one of his Lawyers I think they may have settled for the full amount to make it go away.LLinn wood is a known lawyer and a damn good one and would have loved to go to court on this one.The other 7 idiots that wronged this now rich young man know it as well and are most likley to be running to settle as well and for the same reason.
