Right-wing commentator and former avid supporter of President Donald Trump Ann Coulter has asked why the president and other employers have not been charged with a crime for hiring undocumented migrants.
"Yes, why WON'T authorities charge the employers using all the illegal alien workers?" Coulter wrote on Twitter, sharing an op-ed from The Washington Post calling out Trump's double standard of allegedly employing undocumented migrants while his administration raids other companies and deports working immigrants without legal status.
"ANSWER: BOTH REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS SUCK UP TO EMPLOYERS FOR THEIR CAMPAIGN DONATIONS," Coulter answered her own question.

The Newsweek headline is the headline writer’s fantasy. In reality, she’s complaining that the corporations employing illegal aliens aren’t being fined. The reality, of course, is that you can’t fine employers who have met the minimal requirements of the law, which they have.
She is right. I always wonder why they never went after the employers who blatenly break the law. Paying them under the table and not verifying or collecting SS taxes. I mean if you are serious about illegals, send the message to the employers of fast food, construction and hotels.

She has a good point. We have not required legitimate applications. Our country’s policies have subsidized the human trafficking. Strain at the gnat and swallow the camel.

Notice how the word “knowingly” is missing from the equation.
If someone presents Identification when they are Hired and later it turns out to be Fraudulent, it would appear the Person who submitted the Fake or Stolen Documentation would be the Guilty Party.
It’s like a Counterfeiter handing you bogus Currency and you are the one charged for the crime of Counterfeiting.

My point was that I don’t blame people for using Illegals when they are literally the ONLY QUALIFIED PEOPLE available to do the work (at least without tripling the cost for union wages...and even then, who knows if they’ll bother working, even if they did bother to show up).
But yes, as president, I also don’t know what the hell Trump is waiting for. He doesn’t need the money, or the political support, from big-money RINOs in the northeast and west coast...so how about nailing some of them. It’s not very hard to drive a few vans through housing developments, or farms, or Home Depots.
The reality is we have had I-9 laws in place since the late ‘80’s. EVERY employer is required by federal law to document the eligibility of each new employee. Employers SHOULD be held accountable if they are knowingly employing people without proper documents. The employees of the IRS should be held accountable when they don’t make an issue of people utilizing false ID. Any gov’t agency that doesn’t intercede when false documentation shows up should be held accountable. Otherwise, why have these laws?!

In Texas they used to be 5/12 (i.e., 5” up for every 12” lateral), not very steep, but still a bit scary to walk on. Now they’re 10/12 or 12/12 (45 degrees), or even more.
So something we must all ask ourselves before beating on Trump, or beating on Illegals:
WOULD YOU BE COMFORTABLE KNOWING A BUNCH OF METROSEXUALS ARE WALKING ON YOUR 12/12 ROOF?
And even if you’d be ok, what would your insurance company think?
