The Democratic Party Is Finding a Way to (Bleep) This Up
Esquire ^ | November 3, 2017 | Charles P. Pierce

The clock is ticking on the only vehicle capable of resisting Trumpism.

I will go to my grave convinced that the 2016 Democratic primary process was the single most depressing political event I ever witnessed. The Republicans at least had a thin, bright edge of insanity that kept things from getting utterly tedious. (I never will forget waking up on the morning of the Indiana primary to discover that the president* had tried to pin the Kennedy assassination on Ted Cruz’s father. Most primary days are a dull as dishwater until they start counting the votes. This one wasn’t.) But the Democratic nominating circus was an endless slog that veered between a coronation and a smug, self-righteous quasi-insurgency that quickly developed a paranoid streak a mile wide. This set a perfect stage for the nearly omnipresent Russian rat*******. The rat******* didn’t have to create divisions to exploit, they already were there.

And, of course, the hell of it all is that, as the president* screws up, lies his withered hindquarters off, places larval reactionaries on the federal bench, and hands the departments of the government over to the unqualified and the outright loony, this miserable political pissing match is still going on.....

Trumpism = Americanism.

NEVER forget that folks!

When I was in high school in the 70s, we had to take “Americanism vs Communism” to teach us the value of the American way of life over the collective poverty and hopelessness of communism.

Living in an alternative universe! Quoting the MSM lies and distortions as truths and then accusing the President, falsely, of them!

Talk about living in a double-blind alternative universe!

Mr. Pierce (whoever he is) adds a phrase to the lexicon that kinda sums up the Democrat approach in one sentence:

“This uniquely Democratic ability to do the tarantella on one’s own dick”

Nuh-uh, we totally didn't rig the Democrat primaries for a Hillary victory! And it's totally normal for a disgraced DNC leader to be swung into one of the most lucrative campaign committees so they can get their payoff for the fix.

Now, will all you rabid neanderthals who failed to support HER by voting for a old WHITE MAN please shut up about this and go after our target? We're running out of the money we skimmed from the deals with Russia.

So finance campaign laws are just suggestions?

So transferring $12 million dollars of DNC money to a law firm to create a unaccountable slush fund is no crime?

Paying foreign intelligent agents (via the slush fund) to create a fake file on their opponent and then slipping that file to their friends in the FBI to use to get a wire tap on the campaign is no crime?

Having the FBI leak with Obama’s approval information discovered on those wire taps to the media just politic as usual.

After losing the election using those self same fake files to get the President impeached is what... a coup perhaps?

Yeah, the Democrats have screwed up but I don’t think they really know just how bad it is.

I have family members that have drank the kool aid. The hate with in them is almost unbelievable. Fortunately they all live in California and California is already lost to reality.

Typical writer for a failing magazine with a chip on his shoulder. Got to put an asterisk to “the president” every time he writes it. Just so cutesy-poo in his prose. Newstand sales of “Esquire” and the other men’s magazines are a third of what they were ten years ago. The always self-important but unimportant Esquire is going down the drain and taking its “journalists” jobs with it.

None of the items you listed are a crime because the acting AG, Rosenstein, is a long-time Hillary crony.

Now if Republicans had done those things and there was a Democrat administration, they’d be the crimes of the century...maybe of the Millennium.

Public admission that they still can’t connect the dots on USA because of their petty little self importance from each of their constituencies. GOP is faring no better and has it’s head above water for now.

This is Trump. He ushered in the Zeitgeist of “Hey, wait a minute, this is our country we’re talking about”.

Notice how the original article ended?

Didn’t the courts already declare that the DNC was not obligated to use the results of the ballot box to select its nominee, and they could annoint anyone it wanted? This was the result of Bernie’s class action suit, right?

As a member of that “basket of deplorables”, “the great unwashed”, “fly-over country”, and one that has been watching the Democrats devolve from the moment that a certain rifle went BANG in Dallas, I am quite comfortable watching folks like this “Esquire” op-ed article creator (he ain’t no author nor of worth to have the title ‘writer’) implode, ooze all over the pavement, their heads exploding like the Martians in “Mars Attacks”, as I drink my morning coffee at home, and loving every second of it.

Yes, and the point of the lawsuit was that donors to Sander's campaign had their money redirected to Hillary's campaign, even before she became the nominee and Bernie was still campaigning against her. All of that was recently confirmed as true by Donna Brasile's article.

““This uniquely Democratic ability to do the tarantella on one’s own dick”

That still can’t compete with the comment about Hillary getting the ‘Woman of the Year Award’.

“Yeah, she can use the award to clang on the bars of her cell when her water dish needs filling.” ROTFLMAO!
