The anti-fascists are wearing their sweatpants today. Tennis shoes are a must. They’ve been told to wear something breathable — no masks, no bandanas, no armor. Almost nobody wears black (almost nobody).
Gym members drift in through the door of the Breakaway Social Center in the Little Village neighborhood on Chicago’s West Side. The two-story corner building was once home to a $10-a-haircut barbershop, but now the walls are lined with posters bearing anarchist symbols and advertising a recent lecture on militant suffragettes.
The couches are pushed back to the walls, next to shelves stacked with political journals. On the floor, warm-ups begin. The class splits into small groups to learn a couple new moves — thrust kicks, palm heel strikes.
Lean in, turn hips for momentum, and follow through once, striking the jaw — that’s how to punch a neo-Nazi.
One of the gym’s organizers, who goes by Meyer Lanski (a play on the Jewish gangster Meyer Lansky), instructs participants to stand in line. Lanski, 32, holds out a kick shield and braces himself to receive their blows. Even some of the new participants are landing their kicks. Within the hour, the women and men start sparring, learning self-defense tactics they can use in their private lives, or at protests.
The Haymaker Collective is one of many anti-fascist groups that began offering self-defense courses in the wake of Donald Trump’s election and the political upheaval that has followed. Some groups train their members for unforeseen attacks, while other antifa organize more militant trainings to equip people with arms or prepare them for confrontations at protests.....

If they are too weak to be able to tolerate some macho gym culture, then they are too weak to be able to defend themselves. BTW the vast majority of the people on the right aren’t neo Nazis or KKK members. They are decent, kind people tired of a govt. that thinks it has a right to their money, a right to control their speech, and their beliefs.

Our police don’t have machine guns to mow them down in the streets? Mow them down and give their sympathetic family members 24 hours to come pick them up. Load leftovers on trucks and dump them in a landfill.
That would be my solution.
You might be surprised to know that MOST police departments do not have automatic weapons.
A family member State Trooper uses the same AR15 I own.
About being hunted... were the Govt declare them terrorists, nobody could protect them and citizens would go out to arrest them and kill them if they refuse to submit to authority.... Declaring Hillary treasonous might result in her murder by an otherwise law abiding citizen. I like the idea of open season on those who commit treason or are actual enemies of the State.

You have a mass media view of the daily life of a State Trooper. They don’t need automatic weapons for the same reason as anyone else—massive suppressing fire is not a “thing”. Accurate, well placed shots are more effective and it keeps the bystanders from injury.
I am sure their SWAT teams have autos.
In any event the daily life of most officers is uneventful and dealing with idiots.

The ‘police’ DO have at their disposal full-blown M-16 models, and smaller-sized submachine guns, if they are in the bigger cities, hidden in their armories. They also have good ol’ pump shotguns, that can do quite a bit of good, depending upon the ammunition issued.
Now, for “us great unwashed folks”, i would suggest pinching pennies and acquiring either a ‘KSG’ or an ‘UTAS’ shotgun. for further information, go to YouTube, and search ‘hickok45’, and those two names, or the ‘Military Arms Channel’, and you will learn a lot about them.
Personally, I would prefer a bunch of cowpokes with lever-action rifles in .45-70 Government. ‘hickok45’, again, on that one too.
