The political map doesn't look very good for Democrats ahead of the 2018 midterm elections, according to a new analysis published by FiveThirtyEight.

The analysis, written by Cook Political Report's David Wasserman, says that if Democrats were to win every single House and Senate race next year in places that Hillary Clinton won or that President Trump by less than 3 percentage points last November, they could still lose the House and lose five Senate seats.

If we pick up 5 Trump Senate seats we are going to roll over the never Trumper’s.

Why was Obamacare passed through reconciliation, but Trump can’t pass anything through reconciliation?

"Why was Obamacare passed through reconciliation, but Trump can’t pass anything through reconciliation?"

Obamacare passed the Senate with 60 votes when the Democrats had a 60 vote majority.

So if the MSM is always WRONG (like on election night), is this good news or bad news?

Gotta give Harry Reid credit: he has balls.

Don't drop your guard, people...the only survey that matters is the one on Election Day. And even if the Pubbies retain both houses, if we don't have conservatives with guts on the Hill, well, we'll get more of what we have now...gutless, spineless, weak sister Pubbies like Mammoth Cave McConnell and Lyin' Ryan. Primary the SOB RINOs out, people!

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!

Considering how wrong 538 was in the last election, this is disquieting.

In other words this will be a real challenge for the Republicans to screw up, but if anyone can do it the GOP can.

A later amendment dealing only with budgetary items was passed under reconciliation.

I see at least 6 flips Dem>Rep. and maybe only 1 or 2 Rep>Dem flips. (Heller Nev.)

I'd put money on Nelson-Fl, McCaskill-MO, Tester-MT, Donnely-Indiana, Heitkamp - ND, Manchin -WV.

Those closer to home know more than yours truly and would appreciate input.
