Pamela Anderson is speaking out against pornography.
“This is a public hazard of unprecedented seriousness given how freely available, anonymously accessible and easily disseminated pornography is nowadays,” she penned in a joint op-ed with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach in Thursday’s Wall Street Journal.
The unlikely pair wrote the piece in the wake of Anthony Weiner‘s latest sext scandal, in which he was caught sending a crotch shot in the presence of his young son.
Translation: I’ve already made my money in it.
I think she has causes and symptoms mixed up.

I feel a little bit sorry for her. I guess her pain is self inflicted but she really went downhill.

Her very long association with the Playboy company makes her statement hypocritical.
Did she? I mean real porn, strictly sex in all its permutations, as opposed to movies with a story line and so-called adult content? There is a difference, though its getting less and less.

I share your sentiments, but I won’t dismiss the validity of her thoughts on the subject. I do not consider myself a prude, but there is some really sick stuff out there and one has to worry how it impacts people - especially young people.
It has gone far beyond the days of finding a hidden stash of Playboy magazines.
