So when did Ann's and Obama Sr.'s "whatever happened happened fast" wedding happen? For no apparent reason, confusion abounds among Obama's biographers over the wedding date:
1. Dreams claims that Ann and Obama Sr. were in married "in 1960"; similarly, Mendell's 2007 book claims that the couple were married "sometime in late 1960" when they "slipped off alone to the island of Maui"; and both Obamaland (2008) by Ron Jacobs (with contributor David Maraniss) and a 2007 Washington Post article claim that the two were married "late in 1960."
2. A 2007 Chicago Tribune article vaguely claims that Ann and Obama Sr. were married "six months before" Barack's birth on Aug 4, 1961 -- or, in other words, sometime in early 1961.
3. An April 2008 Time article by Amanda Ripley, as does Maraniss's August 2008 article, gives a specific date of February 2, 1961 for the wedding, apparently based on Ann's and Obama Sr.'s 1964 divorce records mysteriously appearing on the web. But since fake documents have been known to appear on the web, Obama's biographers, Ripley and Maraniss, might want to verify the 1964 divorce documents especially since a Feb. 2, 1961 marriage date for "Ann and Obama Sr." wasn't reported in any Honolulu Advertiser or Honolulu Star-Bulletin marriage lists from February 1961. Take the February 8, 1961 Star-Bulletin, which listed eighteen marriages from Feb. 3, Feb. 4, and Feb. 6, and no Feb. 2 marriages, and the February 7, 1961 Advertiser, which listed eleven marriages from Feb. 2 to 4, including two Feb. 2 marriages.

Yesterday morning I tried to order this book through a small publisher who had it listed on their web site. I placed the order, got a confirmation email, called them to confirm, then replied to confirmation email with thanks, then got a reply that it was unavailable.
UPDATE: They had the ad up since december.
I called them today and asked if they had gotten any in after the Feb publication date, and then sold out, or if they had ever gotten any in at all.... lady said they hadn’t.
I also had placed a preorder at amazon for same book (it had variation of title but same author) they said it was due August, then I got an email saying they cancelled my order saying not available.
Then I retried at amazon and got confirmation that the variant was due out in Sept.
ANOTHER UPDATE
Marks website says he was in negotiations with wider publisher, and if anyone wants book, to order thru amazon.
I found one listing on eBay Canada for the original title and cover picture, listing said they had three copies and one sold, and the seller took down the listing before the other two got sold.
Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping!
To get onto The Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping List you must threaten to report me to the Mods if I don't add you to the list...
Books about 0hbama were pulled from Store shelves. Wonder who reads FR and reported to whomever has the power to pull Books, thereby not allowing them to be sold.
WH57, another loss of freedom; your comment ought to scare the daylights out of any one who reads it.
Thanks, WildHighlander57 and Null and Void.
The image of the cover from the Ndesandjo website is not the same as the mock-up cover previously shown on this thread. Why would a publisher release a cropped or an unfinished cover image? Why does his name appear twice? Is there a book, or is there nothing but two images of a cover of a book that hasn't been published...in English?

I pre-ordered the book through Amazon. The price was 19.59 but when I checked out they DEDUCTED 19.59 as an “Amazon Settlement Credit” (whatever that is). So, in essence, I’m getting it free. I have “Prime” so my shipping is “free”.

Mark is in negotiations with a traditional publisher for English rights to CULTURES! The new book publishing date will be announced shortly.
Burning books before they’ve hit the market. Expect invitations to all hussein’s closest and dearest supporters for a bonfire and marshmallow roast at the white hut soon.
The left side of the smaller cover is the spine, hence the title and Mark’s name twice.

The above appears to be the source of the cropped book cover image. It's not there now. This was the link provided:

The link is live, just not connected to the article as far as I can see. She's Canadian? And there were 'copies' withdrawn from sale in Canada on e-bay? A bit messy.
Ok. I didn’t notice that, thanks. Funny way to photograph the cover of a book.
You’ve made me look again. What it seems to be, is the cover, no book, and the cover is folded to include the spine in the image.
When did you place the order?
Did you get a confirmation email after placing the order?
So does this mean that Obama is officially technically a bastard?
All y’all are most welcome!

I have a sense that what this might mean is you have a credit with Amazon...which will be credited to the amount of your next purchase.
I have IE and I can see it perfectly well, thank you.
It’s just no longer connected to the article she wrote:

So, was that image originally supplied by EVA CAIRNS with the article or not, and if it was, why was it removed?
IF it was never with the article to begin with, how and from where was the image obtained?
