So when did Ann's and Obama Sr.'s "whatever happened happened fast" wedding happen? For no apparent reason, confusion abounds among Obama's biographers over the wedding date:
1. Dreams claims that Ann and Obama Sr. were in married "in 1960"; similarly, Mendell's 2007 book claims that the couple were married "sometime in late 1960" when they "slipped off alone to the island of Maui"; and both Obamaland (2008) by Ron Jacobs (with contributor David Maraniss) and a 2007 Washington Post article claim that the two were married "late in 1960."
2. A 2007 Chicago Tribune article vaguely claims that Ann and Obama Sr. were married "six months before" Barack's birth on Aug 4, 1961 -- or, in other words, sometime in early 1961.
3. An April 2008 Time article by Amanda Ripley, as does Maraniss's August 2008 article, gives a specific date of February 2, 1961 for the wedding, apparently based on Ann's and Obama Sr.'s 1964 divorce records – mysteriously appearing on the web. But since fake documents have been known to appear on the web, Obama's biographers, Ripley and Maraniss, might want to verify the 1964 divorce documents – especially since a Feb. 2, 1961 marriage date for "Ann and Obama Sr." wasn't reported in any Honolulu Advertiser or Honolulu Star-Bulletin marriage lists from February 1961. Take the February 8, 1961 Star-Bulletin, which listed eighteen marriages from Feb. 3, Feb. 4, and Feb. 6, and no Feb. 2 marriages, and the February 7, 1961 Advertiser, which listed eleven marriages from Feb. 2 to 4, including two Feb. 2 marriages.

For that to be the same girl, major facial reconstruction would have been required. Which reminds me, having posted the above image earlier on this same thread, much is missed by people who pop their head in during a discussion and don't read from the beginning. It makes Sisyphus very tired...
There’s no way that kind of reconstruction could have been done. The jaw would have had to have been broken and re-aligned, and the top of her head would have had to have been altered. It’s simply impossible.
Anyone who commences a statement with 'maybe' or 'is it possible' or some such, gets as much information as possible. It's the quite obvious unsourced, unsubstantiated rumour that sounds more like gossip which isn't helpful. Like Frank and that 13 year old girl he wrote of in a pornographic book he wrote because he was broke. That book has been touted as an autobiography, which it never was. It was simply a pathetic means for a washed up writer to try to earn an income, after his wife's inheritance ran out.
Is that real, or an effect of the camera angle relative to the face?
Also, is SADOS's nose really crooked as it appears here?
Are her earlobes really that much more prominent than the model's?

One girl posed for erotic images in magazines in 1958, the other showed up in Hawaii in 1963. You don’t know anything about either of them really.
If you’ve seen a lot of photos of SAD (no need for the “O”), her chin is always bigger than the model’s, and her nose was always sort of bent. Plus take a look at the photo above of SAD in 1958. Some of the photos of the model are from a magazine published in 1958.
That should set any lingering doubts that SAD is the model to rest, in a deep, dark crypt.
Exactly. Why anyone would assume that the event occurred at all, or the poor girl (if real) was even named Ann.
Grasping at straws, imho. Or purposeful obfuscation. A genuine curiosity or desire to know the facts, is expressed differently than obfuscation or straw grasping.

The kenyan student certainly didn't live at that address, and the student Ann S Obama might have been his wife, the one he wrote home about when he told his father he had married a white woman... Do you think it's possible he was keeping her concealed from Elizabeth Mooney(Kirk) who had paid his airfare to Hawaii and was covering his living expenses? The same woman, more than likely who he told the INS later, from whom he was separated and was now living in the Philippines.
It all gets glossed over very effectively by discussions on the morals of Stanley Ann Dunham, who was probably living with her uncle Charles in Chicago. In Hyde Park.
And we must not be allowed to dwell on what that might mean.
It seems she delivered a child to Hawaii and gained custody through a divorce from a man she wasn't married to.

The boy’s parents obviously had their reasons, maybe they just wanted him to be out of harm’s way. Perhaps the father, having become quite paraniod, having written to various associates that he expected to be assassinated, thought that his male progency would also be target. The mother, very young, very highly placed socially born of parents of a ruling class family, was persuaded to give up the child?
