The Marriage of Obama's Parents: 'In Name Only'?

So when did Ann's and Obama Sr.'s "whatever happened happened fast" wedding happen? For no apparent reason, confusion abounds among Obama's biographers over the wedding date:

1. Dreams claims that Ann and Obama Sr. were in married "in 1960"; similarly, Mendell's 2007 book claims that the couple were married "sometime in late 1960" when they "slipped off alone to the island of Maui"; and both Obamaland (2008) by Ron Jacobs (with contributor David Maraniss) and a 2007 Washington Post article claim that the two were married "late in 1960."

2. A 2007 Chicago Tribune article vaguely claims that Ann and Obama Sr. were married "six months before" Barack's birth on Aug 4, 1961 -- or, in other words, sometime in early 1961.

3. An April 2008 Time article by Amanda Ripley, as does Maraniss's August 2008 article, gives a specific date of February 2, 1961 for the wedding, apparently based on Ann's and Obama Sr.'s 1964 divorce records – mysteriously appearing on the web. But since fake documents have been known to appear on the web, Obama's biographers, Ripley and Maraniss, might want to verify the 1964 divorce documents – especially since a Feb. 2, 1961 marriage date for "Ann and Obama Sr." wasn't reported in any Honolulu Advertiser or Honolulu Star-Bulletin marriage lists from February 1961. Take the February 8, 1961 Star-Bulletin, which listed eighteen marriages from Feb. 3, Feb. 4, and Feb. 6, and no Feb. 2 marriages, and the February 7, 1961 Advertiser, which listed eleven marriages from Feb. 2 to 4, including two Feb. 2 marriages.

Everything is moot as long as the deception has been successful in concealing who his parents were/are.

I read a lot of existentialist books when I was a young teenager - Camus, Sartre. Did not help my life outlook. Then I went for Buddhism, a bit better but not quite what I was looking for. I remember reading “The Myth of Sisyphus”. A bunch of those books; I was really too young, but I read voraciously nonetheless.

Believe me, I know how it feels to be Sisyphus, condemned to push that rock up the mountain, only to watch it roll down again...Stanley Ann Dunham met a student from Kenya in 1960 (no, she didn’t, she wasn’t even in Hawaii) she attended a Russian Class (no she didn’t, that was a student named Ann Obama) she became pregnant (rather difficult, as she was more than likely living with Uncle Charles in Hyde Park) and she married him in Maui in February (ditto, she wasn’t there) and their child was born on Agust 4, 1961, (no it wasn’t, Stanley Ann Dunham wasn’t his mother and she wasn’t married to the Kenyan, whom she didn’t meet until 1971) and then she shows up in Seattle in August (no she doesn’t, that was Anna Obama who had a child in Hawaii in January...

and there goes that rock again...this is so much fun, LOL!

No, I don’t think the communists’ ideology has changed one iota.

I just think there’s a shift in the wind. Nothing stays the same, and I am more and more optimistic with each passing day. Feels like a sunrise inside. Hard to describe. There are downright evil people in the world, sworn evil. Then there are people are act badly because they are ignorant and don’t know any better, but if given a choice - might choose the side of truth and goodness.

When the Mormons dead dunked atheist Stanley Ann Dunham into Mormonism in June, 2008 they also gave her all the possible endowments, the 2nd anointing, and sealed her to her children thus make that-guy-in-the-white-house the first Mormon president...

at that time Stan Ann was also temple married to the polygamist Barak Obama Senior..tyhe first “marriage” of any kind between the two ..

In 1960 Barak Obama Senior was already married to a wife back home in Kenya..

There is no way there could have been a legal marriage here in the US and Hawaii was part of our country under our laws but not a state yet..

there is no way Obama Sr would have risked his student visa by blatantly breaking the bigamy laws and going to jail..

a couple of years later when he wanted to renew or extend his visa he couldn’t prove he was married to an American namely Stan Ann and so he was deported..

on his application he put down a wife and child but couldn’t prove either..

you don’t think Obama Sr would have produced the necessary documentation, a marriage certificate or a birth certificate for Junior if they were real and available so he could stay in Boston or wherever and finish his PHD or whatever ???

and when Sr was sent the divorce papers he never fought it..the document remains unsigned by him..

If the marriage had been real don’t you think Sr would have fought it tooth and nail or produced the divorce documentation to prove there had been a legal marriage in the first place ???

BTW the package for divorce does not contain a copy of a marriage certificate..although there should have been one in it..

Look its like this..

to join a hereditary society a person has to prove and provide all the documentation for the first three generations ..copies of the original birth, marriage, death certificates for themselves, their 2 parents and their grandparents..

and then as many documents as possible for the generations further out..

any missing documents must be explained with acceptable signed affidavit as to the reason there is no available document..

as a member of several I know how difficult it can be to provide all necessary “proofs” along with the application for membership..

and those societies are not running this country..

yet a guy that wants to be president of the United States was not as scrutinized as I was just to join the UELAC..the opposing group to the DAR..

BTW The mother of George Washington was a Loyalist and Stanley Ann Dunham had Loyalist ancestors too, like me..but her son cannot join the UELAC unless he coughs up copies of those documents ..his own birth and marriage..and the BDM certificates for Stanley Ann Dunham and Barak Obama Sr and her parents..

You've seen the photos. Why would anyone believe that there was anything unique about it?

...could they have travelled to Chicago where FMD and Stanley Ann meet?

...if you look at my previous link to fr thread see post 11 it puts into doubt the 1958 pictures are the same.

I have yet to see evidence that the photos were taken in Hawaii, Seattle or Chicago. Have you come across any?
