It's time to get out the red editing pencil and make a major change in that bumper sticker, "Old guys rule!"
Make it "Some old guys rule!"
Because clearly some old guys no longer rule. Start the list of fading has-beens with Donald Trump, Karl Rove, Hollow Man Mitt Romney, John McCain, Herman Cain, Dick Morris and other assorted Fox News gas bags, and that Wayne LaPierre guy from the National Rifle Association, the one who spits as he talks about the need to get more guns in the schools.
As a new year has begun, it's important to remember that 2012 and Barack Obama's re-election showed that most Americans are tired of these bozos who are flogging causes for their own benefit – TV show ratings, book sales and Iowa caucus votes — and they have major credibility gaps and way too much meanness in their madness.
Most Americans aren't quaking in their beds at night, worried about gays and immigrants and Obama's birth certificate.
What's keeping us awake is the shaky economy, the tea party's unpatriotic lust for cutting government services even though tax rates are lower than they have been in decades, and the realization that the rich are getting richer while too many of us — especially our children — are facing a climb that is more uphill than it has to be...

Well.no matter how optimistic this lib is about 2013, *this* old guy isn’t. He complains about the uphill climb the next generations are facing. Has he ever thought about who actually made it that way?

Liberals (er, now “progressives”) yearn to be free of the restraints of timeless principles which are ultimately rooted in the Ten Commandments, principally the ones that forbid lies, coveting and theft.
These “old men” are really just people who know that God rules in the lives of men, that His law matters and that every person will eventually judged for their works.
Liberals yearn for a secular Utopia and any hint that it might actually be possible to achieve is a high point in their lives. But it must not be, for their secular Utopia would be hell on earth.

The Government is only responsible for the general welfare of the people, not every ones personal welfare.
The only thing Government can do to help the general welfare of the people is to stop the high taxes and crazy regulations that put people out of business.
High taxes and crazy regulations are the reason Americans can not compete with foreign countries so we are forced to buy every thing from abroad.
Stop the stupid regulations that are for no other reason than to have more servants on the government pay roll and bigger Government.
