Yeah, you’re right, we shouldn’t give a crap and just vote for whatever the Republican party give us. So much for you being a patriotic American, you’re just a party hack; a vote they can count on no matter what they run. In fact, you don’t mean squat to anyone as your vote is guaranteed and therefore your opion does not matter. So, just stop giving it.
Amen. On a related note, I remember lurking around some liberal websites during the '08 campaign and they were having the same tantrums.
These aren't tantrums. They're fundamental disagreements with the direction the party is taking. They'll be over than the Republican party decides to be conservative again. If you're interested in taking sides in this year's war of the empty suits and the hollow rhetoric that apolitical, amoral consultants poll test and put in their mouths, then enjoy it to your heart's content. The rest of us who have actual standards for who we think should fill the shoes of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Ronald Reagan will stick to them.
