You know, I saw a post name, “Middle Earth” and it triggered a response in me. So, my very humble message to my fellow Cain supporters and Mr. Cain (Lord of the Ring):

What can men do against such reckless hate?
Ride out with me. Ride out and meet them.
For death and glory.
For America. For your people.

If this is to be our end, then I would have them make such an end, as to be worthy of remembrance.”

Fellow Cainiacs- yes- he may drop out (I still don’t think so- I still think/hope, as I always have, he’s playing them like a drum) In this regard, I might be wrong- and then, certainly I will look foolish on this Board. OMG!!!! A Fate worse than Death!!! -:) But thankfully, I don’t take myself that seriously -I’m been foolish more times than I can remember.

But here, I rather be considered a Fool, that a fair-weather friend. Mr. Cain fought for the principles some of us whole dear. And if this be his final day, the least we can do, is take this last opportunity to support him on this Board against all of those who are eviscerating him solely because they are shilling their personal candidate, and by reduction, forsaking the family of constitutional conservatives.

So my fellow Cain supporters, -if one day is all we have- use this day to the fullest- and give him full-throated support on each and every thread. He deserves that from us!

“ A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, BUT IT IS NOT THIS DAY !!

Trigg was not my kid. And that resulted in this whole Trigg truther issue that I still deal with every day.

When did Trig add a second "G" to his name?

How often does Palin get massaged?

The REAL conservative with guts. I love her take on it;

PALIN: If he did do it, though, Sean, if he did it, if he engaged in this recent affair and is misleading the public, then, you know, like they say, boys will be boys, but they shouldn’t run the country. And it’s going to be refreshing when facts come out on this so that people can make up their mind, make their own judgment on this, and then we can move on and start talking about the issues that really matter.

I kind of like her position now in the republican party...more of a guide than a direct leader....she has more conservative sway that way, I think. 8 years vs 15-20 years of influence.

No she doesn’t, unless Todd had a 13 and 1/2 year relationship with some broad (that’s what Palin called Ginger White). And unless Todd gave money, jewelry, gifts, airline tickets, sports tickets, etc. to some other girl.

Anyway, whatever Sarah says is irrelevant now.

I’m not a Cain supporter but I respect your post and I respect SP for sticking up for him.

Everyone of these women are your worst nightmare.

Let us assume that this women had a 13 year affair with Cain. She states he helped her out financially. She states the whole affair was consensual and she did it because it made her life exciting. She states Cain never abused her and was kind to her giving her gifts, etc. Now she says because the other women, contray to her experience, claim Cain harrassed them, she believes them and not Cain, so she just has to come out of the closet to destroy Cain who has been giving her all this financial support for 13 years. All of sudden this bitch becomes rightous!! Please, what in the world can you make of this behavior other than she is stark raving crazy? After all this she goes on to express sorrow for Cain's wife and family that she is doing a great job of wrecking. After taking Cain's financial support for 13 years she rewards him by destroying him. What a crazy bitch.

I saw her interview & the one with Cain.

I felt real sorry for both of them and complete disgust at the old media, and the leftist establishment.

Hannity is really coming through.

LOL

This thread is good for a laugh. We got palin(who dropped out of the race before even entering it) telling us how she supports cain(who has a ZERO percent chance of winning the primary). And then we got a bunch of rabid palin fans and rabid cain fans on FR.

Give it up cainiacs! Your favorite candidate has the same chance of being president as palin does.

It’s not your fault of course, but some of the food fighting on this thread about Perry (silly me, I thought it was about Cain and Palin) will set FR back 20 years.

I think I lost 25 IQ points just reading some of the kindergarten and irrelevant back and forth.

I want to make a confession to my fellow FReepers, so everyone will know the power of our enemy, the MEDIA.

Even though I've been on FR since 2003, I wasn't active on here during our election cycle in 2008. I had recently moved to the New Orleans area, and I happened to be working for the City of New Orleans, so I was surrounded by a different set of political beliefs than I had been used to. (Read: VERY pro-Obama.)

But since I wasn't active on FR, all of my information about the campaign was coming from co-workers and mainstream media sources — TV and some newspaper.

I am absolutely guilty of believing the media's portrayal of Sarah Palin. I thought McCain was on crack for pulling a “complete unknown” as his running mate. I believed Trigg was actually Palin’s daughter's child, and that Palin was claiming it was Palin’s child to deflect from her daughter sleeping around out of wedlock, etc.

Make no mistake, I voted for McCain, because anything was better than Obama.

But that is the power of the media. I believed their crap. Because I didn't have any contradictory information (by reading FR). Lots of people believe their crap. Look at how many FReepers - active FReepers - are believing the MSM crap about Cain. The general public is easily swayed. Like Palin said, once the bell has been rung, it's very difficult to unring the bell. Cain will have to pull off a miracle to turn this around. But it's possible... so we'll see what happens in the next couple days, and then the next few weeks.

Mrs. Cain is key.

Lin Wood is key.

Clarence Thomas is our best justice (even a little better on federalism than Scalia). If he hadn’t gone through what he did in his confirmation hearings, I wonder if he’d be as strong as he has been. This may just make HC stronger.

What we need, as much as a president who clearly sees the importance of constitutional principle, is one who stands by it regardless of the lies and cheap shots the Left will take. They never stop attacking, so if we are to have any chance of advancing conservatism instead of merely deciding how quickly to retreat, our candidate has to be someone who can handle the worst they have to offer. Cain and his supporters are being tested as much as anyone has been. I think this will turn out well.

Welcome to the United Soviet States of America..where the Pravda State Media “vet” the candidates to the pleasure and needs of the RinoCrat UniParty.

This “election” will be a non-election...featuring the state approved “candidates”-whose only distinction is whether they are black or white.
